Going Berserk for Justice

Going Berserk for Justice

After leaving the conference, Stuart clenched his fists tightly. Madison, the young lady whom he had been sponsoring, had accidentally hit someone while driving a while back. He could have settled it with money like so many times before. But this time, the person who was hit just had to be my grandfather, Alfred. He assumed that since we were husband and wife, I would never question his decision. He never expected me to actually call the police. Stuart didn't want to hurt Veronica, but he couldn't tolerate my stubbornness and defiance either. So, he figured this incident was the perfect opportunity to teach me a lesson.

Death Demands Justice

Death Demands Justice

I truly thought her brain wasn't working. "Do I look that cheap to you? Do you think I'd be unmoved after what you did to my father? "Even narcissism has limits. Sign." Vivian disagreed and argued urgently, "You still appeared in court to seek justice for my father. That means you still love me." I stared at her hard. "You said it yourself. He was your father. I helped him because he deserved it. "Just like today's funeral. I came for him. Who would pay attention to you?

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

“Liam is a bully. I don’t like bullies.” “Mhm,” he rose to his feet and moved to stand near the wall of greenery. “You are a hero.” “Me?” I was astonished. “Oh, no. That’s Tarragon. She’s the hero. I’m just… me.” “No,” he turned back and offered me his hand. His palm was warm and calloused against mine and his arm strong as he lifted me to my feet. He smiled down at me and reached out to stroke a lock of my hair that had fallen free of its braid back behind my ear. “You are a hero. Every villain needs a hero, and you’re mine, Daethie. I think it’s safe for us to get out of here. What do you think?”

Justice in Bloodlust

Justice in Bloodlust

The night was far from over, and the path ahead was uncertain, but as I stood there, locked in his gaze, I knew one thing with absolute certainty: this dance had just begun, and I, Justice, wasn't sure if I could survive this or not. Niko POV: Her fire. Her defiance. I admired it, but at the same time, I knew I would win. I wouldn't be defied by a human girl. I was the alpha. I was the one in charge. The power I wielded was mine and mine alone, and with it I was unstoppable. I would give her credit for her bravery, but bravery is useless when you have no idea what you are up against. She would soon find out it's better to just listen and follow orders than to try to be bigger than what you a

The Trial's Unsung Hero

The Trial's Unsung Hero

"Yeah! She poisoned the hero, Rose, and ruined her life! I demand she be given the same poison. She has to suffer the same agony!" "Agreed! Kill her! Give justice to our hero!" "She should die! Justice for Rose! Kill her! Justice for Rose!" Red with anger, the crowd unleashed a relentless barrage of condemnation. Their righteous indignation right then was no different from when they had stood united against me not long ago. Amidst the clamor of justice, I coldly said, "That's enough. Quiet." The shouting gradually died down. I shifted my gaze to Jonah. His eyes were still red, and his grip unrelenting, as though he truly meant to strangle her to death.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

Z locked herself in one of the tents. She didn’t want anything to do with Sloane nor put anyone in danger, but besmirching the wielder who showed her what it means to live was uncalled for and was, thus, something she couldn’t just overlook. Yes, Kleint murdered a lot of people; however, it was in the name of justice. He did that solely to bring out peace and sentence sinners the ending they deserved. He’s nothing but a hero, a soul that saved a lot of innocent wielders from the hands of those who were trying to exploit them.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

He had learned that the greatest strength lay not in destroying your foes, but in rendering them obsolete through the unobtrusive, unbending process of creating a better world. Justice had been served. Not the fiery, raging justice of his blood, but a neat, quiet, procedural justice which was not at all damaging to his soul. He did not feel triumphant. Only the thick, humming quiet of the battle over and the boundless, sun-drenched peace of the future stretching out before him, wide and smooth as the ocean.

Alpha's Honor

Alpha's Honor

I limped to Hugo’s side. The fighting ceased. The elders looked from me to their alpha lying in a heap on the floor. I shifted, not bothering with anyone else. No one else mattered. I pulled Hugo into my arms. He was so light to me; I didn’t know why I hadn’t realized it before. Fragile. This was something I’d never thought about Hugo. His eyes fluttered open for only a moment before closing again. I heard him moan, but it was weak. His breathing was shallow and faint. Even in this state, I couldn’t help but admire him. This boy was the reason I’d gone against everything I knew. He was the reason I’d been able to defy my pack, the Elites, and find out what happened to my mother. He was the r

Phantom Syndicate: Undercover Wife To The Mafia Trillionaire

“Then why? Do we look close to each other? No. So what’s your problem with me?” He snapped, her hands wrapping around my neck. But the grip was weak. That was supposed to be strangling? “I just hate you!” “Same,” I shot back, widening my eyes at her defiantly. “You’ve got no fear, do you!” “None at all. Maybe you don’t know, but I’ve got a nickname—Justitia. Because justice can’t be for one side only. If you think your little games will break me, then you’ll see soon enough.”
