The hum grew louder, vibrating up through the ground. The metal crates around them trembled. “Aiden—what’s happening?” Dante demanded. Aiden’s breath hitched. “I don’t know. I don’t—” Then the world shattered. Light burst out of Aiden’s chest—not explosive, not violent. Controlled. Focused. A beam thin as a thread shot upward into the sky, vanishing beyond the clouds. Dante shielded his eyes. “Aiden!” Aiden doubled over, hands pressed to his knees. The light wasn’t painful—it felt like exhaling something he didn’t know he’d been holding.

I said sleepily. He was right, I felt weak and slightly sick that my eye lid started to get heavy. At once I felt a strange cold breeze blow past that made me shiver and open my already closed eyes a little bit. I caught sight of a pale looking slim man wearing a blue tight fitted tee shirt over black leather jeans and brown jacket to my right. He was standing far far away from the group so he was obviously not a part of us, he was looking down all along but as he lifted his head, I saw a his eyes turn deep red before he disappeared completely leaving me shivering against Lucas's body.

The dim light helped dissipate the utter darkness. She took a moment as she settled down and closed her eyes. She enjoyed the silence as she took deep breaths. She stood up and headed towards the kitchen and grabbed a glass of juice. As she drank the juice she arranged all her stuff and tidied her place. Then she headed to take a bath. She changed into her all black combat pants and fitted full sleeve tee paired with the black hoodie and her thick leather jacket. She grabbed a pepper spray, a black procedure mask and wore a plain black mask with a ripped of bottom part; just leaving her eyes covered.
