No matter how strong they were, fire killed them. “We’re going to need to get them out of here and fast, the people would die if they get caught with fire” I said looking at my wife who nodded. Her hands shaking as she took in the sight that was in front of her. The people who were screaming in fear, some in pain, others at the losses of their families. The homes have burned, there were children crying, I couldn’t think of what my wife was feeling right now, but I knew that it was nowhere near being okay and I wasn’t even sure that the people would be able to get over this.

As the house was built around the turn-of-the-century, heating and air conditioning had not yet been very efficient, which would go a long way in explanation of the copious amounts of fireplaces. James swung around the base of the stairs, searching for the group, and found them in the formal living room where the Christmas tree and all the presents were located. He crossed the threshold as Bill was saying, “We normally only use this room for Christmas and of course with so many of us this year, it’ll fit nicely.” Eliza’s father was leaning casually against the back of a sofa. With the ivory sweater, khaki chiros, and leather loafers, sometimes it was hard to imagine him as the most powerful

It's a good thing that the firefighters were able to retrieve her right away, because otherwise, she would have been with the ashes of our burnt house. According to the investigation conducted by the authorities, the cause of the fire that destroyed our house was due to forgetting to turn off the stove after cooking rice. Unfortunately, there was a plastic bottle with gas nearby the stove, and when the fire reached the bottle, it immediately burst into flames. Because our house was made of wood, the fire quickly spread and eventually consumed the entire house.

It's not even bright outside. He walks into the club, more like bounce. He gets into the club and a few minutes later people start to run out of the building including the man, He walks out of the building. Now I understand, he didn't run out cause he already knows what is about to happen. He looks up at the cctv for a second before leaving the scene, a few seconds later, the building goes up in Flames. Rage builds in my blood at the sight. This is one stupid stunt and when I get my hands on the people responsible for this, they would wish they never had cross me. "The same thing happened in the second video" Tiana mentions as she turns the screen over to her front and types fasts on the key

A child no one apparently knew about and a child that could be lethal and dangerous. I think back to the day I waited in Isabella's apartment, her home smelling of her usual cherry shampoo that was imprinted in my nostrils, her place of the home which had no photos and nothing to show that she was treating it like a home but the mere thought of her coming back to live with me makes me feel giddy.

They tried to comfort me but it was of no use, my pictures, my files, everything gone in the blink of an eye and we were rendered homeless. Dad went ahead to make some phone calls, trying to get us a roof over our heads for the night. We'd probably book a hotel room, for the night, but I can't help but think how expensive that'll be, it's not like we'll stay in one room. I can't do anything to help them, it's not making things better in realizing that this is all my fault. It's my fault our house caught fire and burnt to the ground. How could I be so silly and reckless?

Victor is already by the back door, looking out. “Mama,” Alvin says, his voice trembling. “What’s wrong?” “There’s a fire, baby,” I say, trying to peer beyond Victor at the flames, “up at the big house.” Both boys gasp and I go to one knee in front of them, trying to will seriousness and confidence on my face to calm them. “Daddy and I are going to go up and see if we can help, but we need you two to be safe. Okay?” The books look at each other, considering, and then turn to me and nod. “Good boys,” I murmur, and then pull them over to the front door. Beta Frank is there, the radio on his shoulder buzzing with communication from the other Betas up by the house.

But of course, we ran into a few hiccups while video calling at home. For example, we nearly got discovered by his mom. "Are you done with your homework, or are you reading comics again?" I looked at him in the video and saw that he was staring off into space. Upon closer inspection, there was an open comic book lying on the table next to him. However, when I yelled at him, Austin immediately whipped his head around and buried his nose into the revision books again. A short while later, he peeked at me again and gave me the saddest puppy-dog eyes.

“Ex wife will get the insurance money. It will go to the ground before the fire department gets out here.” One of the warriors cleared his throat. “We need to disable the fire system, then,” he said. We looked at him with confusion and he blushed. “My folks have a home up here. All the houses have to have a fire system there so that the whole mountain doesn’t burn if there’s a fire.” Wyatt stepped forward and handed me a shirt. I pulled it gratefully over my frame, wishing it was a little longer. It barely covered my bits and my butt was hanging out. I figured it was Earl’s since his got shredded when he shifted.

A lot of people were shouting that there was a child inside the house. A woman was screaming and crying out "Help, Help me, please. My son. My little boy. Save him please" She was trying to run into the building but was held by others. I overheard people saying that the fire was caused by a gas explosion. We the scream of a child and we all looked up at the burning apartment. I was ready to shift to save the child. Fire is one of our weaknesses, if we aren't careful we can be destroyed by it.
