The man with a mask over his face. *

The Masquerade mask was Harriet's special mask, a white snake mask with one eye hole on the right side. "Actually, this is my mother's mask," said Harriet quietly. She then smiled and held up another mask box. Harriet showed it to Liam who was still furrowing his brows at her previous words and opened the box. Another white mask appeared in their vision. It was a white wolf mask with golden stripes around its eyes. Harriet smiled proudly showing the mask design. It was the one she ordered yesterday, which turned out to be perfect and ready at just the right time. "This is for me?" Liam asked.

He comes beyond that term. "You are new in this field, right?" Dylan asked the man standing beside him. They are both wearing mask, Tricorno Tarocchi (A joker-like mask with large head piece and with bells on) for him, and Volto Macrame Maschille Gold for his new subordinate. "I'll tell you how we operate our business." They looked at each other. "Our products need a high investment 'ya know. So all we have to do is approach those men with golden spoons in their mouth. Be friendly of course, show them the product and start the deal. Very simple right?"

I paused for a moment before answering. She was a bit far from where I was standing, but I could still see her clearly. However, what truly caught my attention was the man sitting next to her. I didn’t know why, but the moment I saw him, an uneasy feeling crept in. He wore a black hoodie, and his face was completely hidden behind a full-face white Joker smiley mask. Wearing masks wasn’t prohibited at the event, so I didn’t make a fuss about it. In fact, I was slightly amused. It looked exactly like the mask I had imagined for one of the villains in my earlier novel.

The question is, will I survive? The guard suddenly rushes in. He points at me and throws me something, which I quickly catch. “Put that on. Alpha Zao wants to see that on you.” “What…is it?” I ask, standing up. “A mask? I don’t know,” he says with anger. I look at it. It’s a tasseled nose‑and‑mouth mask. The dangling tassels are made with rhinestones, and the bottom part curves into a V shape that frames my jaw and chin when I put it on.

However, when he thought of the fact that Ryder had made this, especially for him, his heart softened and the dissatisfaction vanished immediately. While Ryder put on the coat and boots, Midnight fixed the mask on his face. Since it wasn't the first mask Ryder had made, it was the best one so far she had managed to create. Even though having a few flaws was inevitable, it still was pretty decent. The mask was a half one that covered only the upper half of Midnight's eyes. It resembled a ball's mask. I purred, my voice laced in sarcasm as I pouted my lips. “Aww... Poor, lonely Enzo.” He scowled, his deep voice cutting through the air. “Wear your damn mask.” I rolled my eyes and held my mask. It had a peacock design, with feathers affixed to the sides. Golden detailing lined the edges, giving it a delicate yet exotic look. I put it on, and it shielded my features, except for my eyes and lips. I turned to look at him. His mask was the design of a wolf, its expression a scowl just like the one he carried permanently on his face. The only covered parts of his face were his forehead and eyelids. His eyes, nose, and mouth were exposed.

He said, “Excuse me, Master David. Everyone has to wear a mask to participate in the insider’s trade fairs to remain anonymous. So, you need this.” After David took it, he took a closer look and saw that it was a soft mask. So, he asked, “Mr. Rivers, it's just a trade fair. Is it necessary to make it so mysterious? Not only is it held in such a hidden location, but all participants have to remain anonymous too?”

He told her and noticed how she was still staring at that Skull Emblem of that mask. “It’s my favorite mask, there are only five masks which was made for five of us, it will protect you when you go out of the packhouse, you know, you are unmated with alpha and he has not marked you, so there are chances they will think of you as the rogue but they will know you are one of us because now you have this mask.” He described to her and she nodded and put on the mask on her face and now only her eyes could be noticed.
