Love-Battle Executive: Husband of High Society Fails

Love-Battle Executive: Husband of High Society Fails

Louise said with a sweet smile. “Of course, the one who can win the heart of our Miss Louise must be an extraordinary person.” Lizzie said, feeling a little envious of her friend's good fortune. She once dreamed of having a similar life - a loving and supportive family, a husband who loved her deeply, and a simple yet blissful life. But now, reality stood stark against her dreams and all her illusions turned to ashes. She became mature enough to stop dreaming and fantasizing. Louise looked at Lizzie, "You're not too bad yourself, Lizzie! Bruno is a global phenomenon, a business prodigy. You have no idea how many people envy you."

Pleasure & Confusion

Pleasure & Confusion

We both run into the hospital room to see Lizzie laying there with tubes and wires everywhere; her eyes open, tears streaming. The doctor is at the side writing notes, the nurses rushing around, checking obs and doing tests. I barge past them, and take Lizzie's hand in mine, "What the fuck were you thinking?" She just looks up at me with wide eyes. "Lizzie! Talk to us?" Holden whispers. We watch as Lizzie closes her eyes; when she opens them again, fresh tears cover her face, and her lip quivers, 'I can't talk' she mindlinks, 'The scissors ruined my voicebox.'

Small Town Wives Club

Small Town Wives Club

Would they have children, would they not? Would they get a dog? Maybe a cat? Lizzie smiled in the dark room. Edward was sweating profusely, he had never been more nervous. Lizzie reached for the lamp and pulled the switch. She rolled over to see Edwards eyes flash a look of panic. “I have something I have been meaning to tell you..” Lizzie was confused by the look on Edwards face but she continued. “I found out yesterday and I’ve been waiting for the right time to tell you, but I can’t hold it any more..”

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Promised an end to the pain if she was willing to let it consume her completely. And yet she hadn’t. Despite everything that had been taken from her, she was still fighting for the light. Still refusing the easier path. Still choosing hope when despair would be simpler. If anyone could do this, it was her. I have travelled the world. I have stood before creatures who bent reality without effort. Witches who could shatter cities. Beings older than history itself. None of them stayed with me the way Liz has. Because power alone does not impress me. Liz still has a kind heart. A loving one. Even now. Even broken. Even hollowed out. And most importantly, she still held onto hope. That fragile, s

The author is definitely talented and the story is really interesting and intense. Definitely a page turner and unique plot. That being said, I just would like to not have to pay for full chapters where the internal monologue keeps repeating itself. It was frustrating and made me skip some chapters.

I starten reading yesterday i'm at chapter 16 now. But just like Presh_ shuga.7 says : i would also like it if it would updated often, and also not over streched. There are 4 books you're writting now that are still ongoing. I've seen ongoing books streched out 400-1200 chapters !!!

You Are Mine

You Are Mine

I just stared after him wondering what the hell was happening and why did I get this sickening feeling I was in love with that man. Confusion and sadness churned in me, along with a strange hole that seemed to grow bigger the further away he got. Beneath it all I felt a ray of hope, he still wanted me. Maybe he was right, maybe I should have waited longer. I looked over at Lizzie and her face held a smile that was full of the hope that I was feeling. She came over and hugged me tightly letting me draw strength from her. "Everything's going to be okay. I can tell, honey," she said reassuringly.

Spare Dates

Spare Dates

If not for her, I wouldn't experience those unforgettable days,” Lizzie said. The three looked to each other. “But why? How did I get involved?” Zofi asked. “The moment I saw your face beamed when your boyfriend called you, I knew that was a sign,” Lizzie said. “What sign?” Julia asked. “That I should go and give this guy a chance,” Lizzie replied. “Really? Wow! That’s awesome. My pleasure,” Zofi said. “Well, you should remember that Zofi and Billie have known each other from way back and they’re from the same country. They have a different situation,” Julia said.

The Stranger In My House

The Stranger In My House

Because right now, all we need is time. The police would soon be here and all this can be over. I can see my family again and we could get Sterling the help he needs. Lizzie opens her mouth to speak but no words comes out. She then closes her mouth and nods as she begins to walk towards the staircase. When she reaches them, she sits on the bottom one and looks at us all with pursed lips. “Go on. You all enjoy your little story time.” She says and Jason stands up. I can tell that he is angry.

The Lycan's Gold Digger Wife

The Lycan's Gold Digger Wife

“Dunno, Dave. Maybe I’m lucky. Maybe I’m just smarter than people think. Is that so hard to believe?” The way she said my name —definitely not friendly. More like a dare. Lizzie grabbed my arm, nails digging in like she thought she could puppet me. “Dave, do something! Make her hand it over! It’s family property, right? She’s a Midnight, she can’t just keep it!” I looked down at her, and something inside me… flipped. Couldn’t believe I ever thought she needed protecting. She was small—like, soul-small. “Shut up, Lizzie,” I muttered. “You’re embarrassing yourself. You lost. Deal with it.”

A Hopeful Kind of Love

A Hopeful Kind of Love

Laura Present day She shook herself to break free of the memory. “He didn't want you,” she whispered to herself as she put away the horse blankets. “He got rid of his phone and never even made an attempt to contact you. You don't go where you're not wanted.” She sighed and wished things were different. She wished a lot of things were different, but that didn't change them. She had to live the life she had. She remembered her mom's saying: if wishes were fishes we'd all cast nets to the sea. She didn't have time for wishes.

The Hybrid's Hope

The Hybrid's Hope

Levi I’d searched everywhere I could think to find Hope. It’s not like she has friends all over the world or even in the packs. Hope always kept to herself. After going to everyone she knew twice, and finding Bjorn and her sisters gone, I knew I had to rethink my strategy of finding her. Where could she possibly have gone? I was in my apartment looking over a map, trying to decide where to search next, where Hope might have gone, when it hit me. The hybrids.

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'Hope' revolves around a tight-knit group of characters whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways. At the center is Sarah, a resilient yet introverted artist who uses her paintings to cope with past trauma. Her best friend, Marcus, is a charismatic but reckless journalist chasing stories that often put him in danger. Then there's Dr. Elena Reyes, a compassionate but overworked pediatrician who secretly battles burnout. The story really picks up when a mysterious stranger, later revealed to be a former soldier named Daniel, enters their lives, bringing both chaos and unexpected connections. Each character carries their own version of hope—whether it's Sarah's quiet determination, Marcus's idealism, or Elena's grit—and watching their arcs collide is what makes the book so compelling.

What I love about 'Hope' is how the characters feel like real people, not just archetypes. Even minor figures, like Sarah’s neighbor Mrs. Kowalski—a retired teacher with a sharp tongue but a heart of gold—add layers to the narrative. The way their backstories slowly unfold through flashbacks and conversations makes the emotional payoff hit harder. If you're into stories where the characters drive the plot rather than the other way around, this one’s a gem. It’s the kind of book that lingers in your mind long after you’ve turned the last page.
