Jonah approached her slowly and tried to show her a friendly smile, even though his teeth were rotten and deformed. "Why is the child afraid? You don't have to be afraid of me. I'm not a monster. I am a human being just like you." He came closer and closer and extended his hand to wipe away the tears that had already flooded the girl's eyes. When he touched her cheek, the girl was cold and immediately fell to the ground, fainting. Her flabby little body could not bear such terror. The people who around ran to help the girl, while some tried to revive her, others despised and humiliated Jonah with hurtful words, but there was something specific that marked him forever.

screamed Anthony, terrified, “you need to see this.” Hansly and Dmitri ran to a room around the corner of the hallway to see the rest of the men gathered inside a large study. It was the smell that caught Dmitri first. A thick, unbreathable stench of death filled his nostrils which closed his throat and his eyes stung. He made his way into the study and knew that this memory would be burnt into his brain for as long as he breathed. Headless torsos stripped of most of their flesh hung on the walls along with decaying arms, legs and heads like trophies, paintings made with blood glued to the walls and even photographs of Werewolves, Vampires, Witches and other supernatural beings being torture

The sight was macabre, a true testament to the horror that had unfolded in our midst. “Good heavens, what on earth is this?” Charlotte exclaimed, utterly repulsed by Holly’s ghastly appearance. Alpha Matthew stalked forward, his eyes piercing with disdain. “This creature is no werewolf, that’s for certain. Nor does it bear the mark of a vampire.” As Agents Kim and Jamien scrutinized Holly’s lifeless form, they discovered peculiar glyphs etched into her flesh, along with scars and injuries that appeared to have mended at an unnatural pace.

It had no distinguishable features other than a gaping, vertically opening maw rimmed with rows of hooked fangs gleaming with ropes of slimy drool. The sound its produced was a horrible gurgle, similar to the agonizing groans of the damned. The three manifestations of unholy turned their lustful gazes on the terrified Zerona, who shrank back against the wall in abject horror. Her mouth opened in a soundless scream when they began advancing toward her. “Y-You can’t do this, Knox…. Ahh!” she shrieked when one of them grabbed her by her leg and yanked her toward them. A stab of pain surged through her from the point where the sharp claws cut into her skin.

I whispered softly, the words a chilling promise of the horrors to come. With deliberate precision, I donned my gloves, the cool leather a stark contrast to the fiery intensity burning within me. I looked down at him once more, and that was when I saw it: the flicker of desperation in his eyes. But it wouldn’t save him. Nothing would. Author POV: *Gore* Screams pierced the air, echoing in Ace's ears as the only sound amidst the chaos. It was a twisted symphony that, strangely, brought him an inexplicable sense of pleasure.

Then he saw what was sitting next to her. They weren't human. To her left sat a little girl, her body bloated and swollen. In the firelight, her skin glowed with the pale, bluish-white of a corpse. Her eyes were two bottomless black holes, staring coldly right at them. Ethan felt like his soul was being sucked right out of his body. And to Ava's right... That was something far worse. A horror beyond words. It was a human-shaped silhouette made of pure darkness, devouring all light and sound that dared to come near.

The cover was embossed with a symbol that looked like a twisted, enraged claw mark. Nate crossed the room, the ghost sense of Kieran’s touch still tingling on his skin. He stood beside his chair, close enough to feel the warmth coming from him, and peered down at the pages. The script was old, but the images were brutally clear: depictions of wolves, but different. They were monstrously big, their musculature exaggerated and vicious, with four separate, scary sets of fangs in their gaping maws.

The smaller one gathered up the lighter things. I made a note of the plate number out of habit, and then unfolded the flyer and stared at it as they drove off. It was a cheap-looking photocopy covered with what looked like ads for horror movies that had been torn out of a newspaper, with hand drawn pictures of skulls and bats filling all the other blank spaces. Big swatches of text in old-fashioned fonts mixed with words made out of cut out letters from magazines covered the rest of it. Midnight Spook Party SEE the dead return!

Paralyzed by terror, Marisol tries to scream, but her voice betrays her. The creature's approach was relentless, closing the distance with a menacing determination. As it drew nearer, so did the distorted features of its nightmarish visage grew clearer, etching an indelible horror into her consciousness.
