Mr Donliver's POV If there was one thing that I was very sure of in my life, it was my hearing. I have never hallucinated in my life and I had a very good sense of hearing. And although I wanted to belive that what I heard was not true, I cannot easily dismiss it “My brother?” I asked with so much annoyance already flowing through me and my blood boiling. I could literally feel hot flame about to ooze out of my ears. She trembled and I saw the hard saliva she gulped down her throat and she rolled over to the side of the bed, and to the bottom where my legs were.

Hi, I’m new here! Like, I was approved just earlier. I joined here because I love reading ghost stories. I know I don’t have a third eye, but I had several experiences about ghosts. However, it doesn’t really bother me that much at all. Actually, I really just want to read some ghost stories as a way to lull myself to sleep. But while I was reading, I felt encouraged to talk about my previous experience. I’m just going to share it, okay? It doesn’t bother me at all. Actually, I’ve been amazed by it back then and it hasn't changed even now. I hope you enjoy it too.

Her mouth was stretched wide in a horrifying shriek. A wave of pure hatred rolled off her, so cold it burned the air. The chat stirred to life again. [Here we go! Classic jump scare!] [That's one of the manor's most vicious ghosts! It feeds on the players' fear!] [This newbie is toast! She won't even have time to react!] [I can already picture her getting torn to shreds...] But I didn't scream. I didn't run. Of course, my heart condition chose that exact moment to flare up. The pain was so bad I could barely stand.

Sylvia said to the Library attendant. About what? The man asked. Wolves and Witches. Roxanne said from the other side. Shut up, Witch. Sylvia snapped and turned to the attendant. I'll prefer TRUTH OR DARE. Sylvia said and the attendant shrugged.

Reece whispers in my ear which makes me bounce in fear next to him. "Don't do that…" I snap at him. "Do what?" He asks innocently. "Scare me while I'm watching a horror movie.." I say to him. "Ssshhhh" Lexi, Tony and Aaron hiss at us in unison urging us to shut up. *********************************** It's 11:30pm now, almost midnight and I'm beyond nervous. Anytime now, it's going to happen. I'm going to get my wolf. I'm going to hear a voice in my head.

About secrets the house kept like a loyal servant. The mansion creaked, soft and slow. I froze. My head snapped toward the hallway. Silence. No footsteps. No voices. Just the storm and the clock and that awful sense that I wasn’t alone in my own breathing. I listened harder. Nothing. Still, I lowered my voice instinctively, as if the walls could hear thoughts. “This is insane,” I murmured. And yet I kept reading. Because the pages were doing something to me. They weren’t just telling me Katherine’s story.

We just finished eating dinner, and the sun is about to set. I sat on the pile of books that she had finished reading for the last few days about the history of the witches, Salem, and lots more of it. This bookworm is not just curious about vampires and werewolves but also about witches. And to think that she has already read all the books from the vampires' palace, and also, the werewolves', I certainly feel that my girlfriend is now a walking library. It started when she discovered that she could read so damn fast in her vampire form, and I never knew it. She can freaking finish reading a whole five hundred pages book in just no more than twenty minutes. Crazy, right? While me? I'm fine.

Agatha said briskly. The reality of the situation suddenly sank in. Fear consumed Edwin and his heart threatened to explode in his chest as he rushed to join Tim behind the thick oak tree. “Are you out of your mind?” Tim hissed when his friend skidded next to him. “I think so,” Edwin panted. “I can’t believe any of this is happening. Vampires… witches… this is like some sci-fi nightmare,” Tim complained. “It was supposed to be a simple hunting trip with a few friends.”

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

I darted my eyes away quickly-- "You promised," Al said all of a sudden. "What?" I paused in surprise. "No question asked," Al smirked, holding out his hand to me. I was grateful that he didn't ask into it. Night fell. So the thing about horror stories is that-- The fear kicks in only at dark nights when you are alone, not when you are at the crowded theater or on the bright street. Meaning-- I couldn't fall asleep that night. Turns out it's a bit hard to fall asleep when you don't close your eyes because you feel the need to stare at everything with alert.
