Dressed in a brown leather jacket, a white shirt, and some dirt bike jeans with a cowboy boot, Jace looked like the perfect cast for a hot cowboy guy in a movie. He took off his sunglasses when I looked at him, his beautiful blue eyes coming to light, but they weren't as friendly as before. His expression held anger. His focus shifted to Maya.

The air was crisp with the promise of dawn as Jake tightened his leather armor, preparing for the hunt. His eyes held a mix of worry and determination, the lines of tension etched into his face deepening as he turned to me. I stood in the doorway of our room, arms crossed, pretending to be calm. I shifted the topic and looked away from the portrait as Edwin picked up his pen and signed the deal. "Yeah. I have known a lot, but not many of them are close to me or like a brother like Jace. Anyway, you might be familiar with him," the corner of Edwin's lip rose to a smile. "No. I don't know him. This is my first time getting to see his photo. Who is he?" I feigned ignorance. Edwin looked at me thoughtfully and smiled. "Jace is a politician and a philanthropist in Turkey Island. I'm sure you know of that city."

" You know what let's just start over. It's clear you have the upper hand here because I'm in your room and you're a big strong man." His eyebrows furrowed as I spoke. " I'm Sayd, Sayd Pierce," I said walking from the bed and stopping in front of him. "Kace," he said making eye contact with me for the first time. His eyes were the brightest brown, almost hazel. His bow-shaped curves into a smirk complimenting his perfectly curved face. It wasn't hard to point out how handsome he was, almost breathtaking "Nice to meet you, Kace," I said breaking off my stare and clearing my throat. " And thank you for not leaving me at the party. "

“Low spice, medium, or hot?” I let out a soft snort. “You know this, babe.” “Yeah, I do. Hot but not unbearably hot.” “Exactly!” With a mischievous grin, I continued. “Although, you might want to consider setting yours aside because you won’t be able to handle that level of spice.” “I can,” Chase responded, puffing his chest in the air which made me laugh. “Um, I don’t think you can, Zaddy.
