Its long fingers were the size of my leg; and gripped at the ground in agony. Trauma’s skull had been fragmented, scattered around the face to form a massive skull-shaped mask. Parts of his brain were floating amongst the mess. I could even see one of his eyeballs suspended in the monster’s cheek. Its back was hunched; skewered with bone fragments and spinal cord. His back legs were slightly bowed and remained motionless, shielding most of its glowing stomach. The monster dripped bloody virus and easily dwarfed me. It could have easily been eight metres tall, maybe more.

Something white flashed on the edge of the failure, with a powerful blow raked reeds and grass from the shore and began to grow uncontrollably upwards. At first it was sharp teeth on a bone crest, they advanced above human height and continued to rise. Giant vertebrae appeared under the ridge, with a skeleton of ribs spreading across the width of the entire fault, smaller bones and something resembling stretched veins flickered between them. In a single movement, the skull flew up on a long neck column, dangled in different directions, as if shaking itself. Clods of earth flew through the gaps in the closed jaws, and a dead light flashed high in the sky, flickering in the eye sockets.

Human bones, weathered by time and the relentless flow of water, intertwine with the skulls, creating a haunting display of mortality. The ethereal glow from the waysticks casts shadows upon the skeletal structures, illuminating the intricate details of the bones. Delicate features of the skulls become visible, their curves and contours accentuated by the soft light. The translucent layer of calcium, formed from the presence of limestone fragments packed between bone and stone, overlays the skulls and bones, creating a patchwork effect. In some places, the layer appears frosted, obscuring certain details, while in other areas, it is more transparent, emphasizing the eerie beauty of the skele

There were five big vats in the middle, emitting a strong stench. Hardy covered his nose and walked over. He took a look inside the vat and suddenly felt his stomach churning. Fortunately, there was not much in his stomach, or else he would have vomited all over the floor. Just like the vat that Louise was in, there was about half a vat of maggots inside. It was a vast expanse of white, and it was very big. It kept squirming and rolling. The most important thing was that there was a skull inside. Its eyes, nose, and ears had all rotted away, making it impossible to identify it.

“Let’s just try to find our way from here.” But it was like he didn’t hear me at all. He climbed up onto the porch. “Hey, man, say something at least! What, did you fall asleep or what?” He stepped closer and tugged the hood down — and I couldn’t hold back a scream of horror. Konstantin himself jumped back in shock. Under the hood was a skull — a human skull — tilted slightly to the side. “Holy shit…” he muttered under his breath, stepping back. I clapped a trembling hand over my mouth, trying not to sob.

We had come this far, and the path ahead was clear, even if the details were obscured in mystery. Without hesitation, we stepped through the barrier and approached the old woman. She handed us the hourglass, its sands shimmering like stardust. "The Hourglass of Eternity. It can navigate the stream of time, taking you to the very beginning. Use it wisely." As the hourglass touched our hands, a rush of memories flooded our minds. Scenes from our past, both individually and together, replayed like a montage. The hourglass was connecting us to the moments that had shaped our journey, perhaps showing us the way forward.

“A party?” “Yes, I’m sending him back to his mate in style,” giving the bag another shake so his chunk of collarbone and shoulder skin could reveal itself. Pip sighed. Possibly the tallest man I’ve ever seen, every move he made was languid, graceful. The time taken to move his long, spindly arms from each cupboard left the process resembling a dance. Soon, we had a glass jar and a shitload of embalming fluid. “Brain has to come out first. Then we glue the skull back together and pop it in the jar.”

It’s Shaira. “Shaira,” I uttered her name and she smirked standing up from the floor, lifting her body off the wall. “I didn’t know, this room has a secret,” she said kicking the old cabinet beside her. The room is dark but I can see how bones fell out from the cabinet opens. It’s not some normal bones, they are crushed of cracked. A skull of a human rolled unto my feet.

Including that huge dragon skeleton, hanging in all its glory from several points in the ceiling, leaving the impression, as it was so scattered, that at any time it can grab someone in the room, running off. There were also, among others, hanging from the ceiling or placed on shelves, human skeletons and ... of many other kinds. Some whole ... and on the worktops even just pieces of them, such as various animal skulls or from more or less known creatures, some of them being used even as a container for various magic famous liqueurs and potions, but unknown to many of those beginners. There were phosphorescent green potions, red or even black and viscous potions in those skull-bowls.

T H E W A V E O F green energy finally gave way and right between his arms, a strange object had then materialized, glowing brightly with a green aura and that was when they saw it. It's height was about six to seven inches with a width half of that. There were two transparent crystalline cups conjoined together; one facing upwards and the other downwards, both of them narrowing where they met. It gave the object a similar resemblance to that of an hourglass.
