How Long To Read A 300 Page Book Novels & Stories

But at the end they ended up together and I was happy with that ending. I finished their book in an hour and forty minutes, and I drop it on the table. As soon as I do, Blake picks up the book and he drops Twisted Games. “How long have you been done with the book?” I ask him. “About twenty minutes, I did not want to rush you so I let you finish at your own pace,” he replies.

“No problem. I’ll just bring some to the table and read with you, if that’s alright.” “By all means,” Benjamin said. He left me alone with the shelf, retreating to the table and his notebook. I debated silently with myself, tempted beyond all reason to grab the three books from the shelf. But instead, I grabbed three texts that I had no interest in, red and black and brown, and brought them to the table. We read in silence for nearly two hours. But as my eyes scanned the pages, I digested nothing, barely even seeing the words on the pages. I had to remind myself to turn the pages to make it look like I was reading, all the while debating my next move.

The child continued to cry even harder. Lei busied himself checking his belongings on his bag. After a while, he took the book he purchased online, the day before yesterday, intending to read the synopsis on the back. His flight back to his company this time takes approximately 15 hours of travel. For this reason, he especially made sure to take a book with him to pass the time.

‘Perhaps it was my imagination. “Read further and write an essay on how you can counter it. After that, you may get your dress from the principal.” That spurred Sahithi to speed read the remaining 200 pages of the book. It took her the better part of six hours to finish the book. Then she set to work organising her draft for the essay.

She said, standing up my eyes wide too shocked to even utter a single word as I looked at the books under the desk that she was talking about. Each book was like a bible, probably having more than a thousand pages and I had to read twenty of them in twenty-four hours. My head was already throbbing as Elizabeth closed the door behind her, my body slumping against the chair, all the excitement of working gone leaving nothing but dread. I picked up the first book, it being so heavy it felt like my arm would fall off. My hand turned the thick leather page, flipping through the pages.

I let out a heavy sigh of relief, and finished my hot chocolate before heading back inside, and walking towards the living room. I decided to turn on one of the lights that stood on one of the miniature tables next to the couch, and I opened the book which I had been reading for the past few days. I read for what felt like hours, and when I looked back up at the clock that was hanging on the wall, I found out that I had been reading for the past three hours.

"He said he'd seen it once. Took about three years." "Three years is a long time." "It is." I look back at the training grounds. "But it's better than never. And in the meantime—" I tap the stack of files. "Apparently I have a pack to help administrate." "Have you looked at any of them?" "I have been looking at them for forty minutes." "And?" "And I have read the same first paragraph of the first document seventeen times." She reaches across the desk and picks up the top file. Flips it open. Her eyes move over the first page quickly, the way someone reads when they're actually absorbing rather than just moving their eyes across words.

No way. "You... finished them?" He shrugged. "That isn't possible." I hadn't even given a single thought to it yesterday since he left because I was sure he wouldn't meet up and had only been bluffing. There was no way he could've read eight books in less than twenty four hours. That shouldn't be possible. "You doubting me? Ask me anything." He crossed his arms. My eyes couldn't resist traveling to his hands where tattoos peeked out of his jacket. "O... Okay." I cleared my throat and reached for North Shore Series. "Who were the main characters of book three? Delightful Sins."

I flipped the novel to the back, and my eyes wandered to the details about the author and the book. "Let's just pretend like we are not, okay? Anyways, I called to remind you about the game we planned to play." My eyes went round, and I scrolled through my phone's messages to check the time. It's been twenty-three minutes past an hour since I started reading this book. "Owie Nate?....." I tried to explain, but he stopped me from any further explanation. "What were you doing that you didn't realize it had passed our agreed time?" I shrugged, knowing he couldn't see me.
