Novel & Cerita How Old Is Jackie In My Life With The Walters

It's Grandpa's birthday banquet, and yet my fiancee is working late again, missing her one chance to meet the family. My brother and his wife, still bitter about me taking the project from them, don't waste the opening. "What good is all his money when his fiancee can't even show up on a day this important? She clearly doesn't take him seriously." "That's why Archer's the smart one. He landed himself Claire Donovan, of all people. Even her throwaway gifts start at seven figures." I'm about to fire back when the familiar name stops me cold. My eyes lock onto the bracelet of dark wooden beads the butler carries in. It's identical to the one my fiancee just spent a fortune on a few days ago.

Lovingly, he said, "Let's not talk about her. It's your 'deathday' today. Of course I'm staying with you." Jackie told me he'd take me to the mountain and have a fireworks show during my last birthday. I waited for him the whole night and nearly fainted from the freezing cold. He never showed up. He told me he had an urgent meeting to handle. That urgent meeting was about a dead woman, of course. 'Do you like the videos, Wisteria? He told me he'd never have married you if it weren't for your family's resources. Oh right, that car crash? It was no accident. The truck driver was Jackie's distant relative.'

He chuckled softly. “But then we realized something. You let Jackie in. You always had. She's your bestie after all. And she was married to Brett. So I took over. That simple.” My blood turned to ice. “Where’s Jackie?” I demanded, eyes burning. “Where is she?!” He shrugged, still toying with a strand of my hair like I wasn’t screaming inside. “Alive. For now. Though she might be disabled for life. Poor thing took quite a hit. But I left her breathing. You’ll need a friend after all this.”

Thus, Jackie stood next to her and translated everything for her. Harry just sighed and said, "Wow, look at how in love he is." Jackie was already 33 years old, and people kept criticizing him for being single at his age. Because of this, their parents were worried sick about him. But no matter what they said, Jackie wouldn't listen to them at all. He ignored everyone's words and did whatever he pleased. Since he was finally in love, his parents could finally stop worrying. Lyla was soon transferred to a luxurious ward. Holly rejected Jackie's offer to hire a caretaker for her and insisted on taking care of Lyla herself.

He didn't have any choice when Jackie lifted her phone and smiled at the camera, so a cringe smile was unexpectedly plastered on his face while Jackie has this glamorous face on the picture. I rolled my eyes and winced but deep inside I'm beaming. Classic Jackie. I noticed a picture of an old man on a picture frame beside the television which I think is the grandfather of Zack. He's a little younger in the picture which I think he was in his 50's? He had black hair with some evident shade of gray. He had an innocent face and looked so decent and conscientious. And I admit even with that age he still looked well and charismatic.

Theo said. “Do you still love her.” Theo turned and looked at his nephew. “Yes, I do” he said. Jake held his gaze . Then the corner of Jake’s mouth pulled up slowly. “She’s a bit old for you though isn’t she like in her fifties or eighties ,” he said. Theo stood up so fast his chair scraped violently back across the terrace tiles. “What did you just…” “I’m kidding.” Jake raised both hands immediately and pushed his chair back. “Completely kidding. Sit down. Please. I genuinely value my life.”

“Oh, no, sweetheart. The Mustang stays in town. That’s the only way I can ensure you won’t pull a great escape like you did two weeks ago.” Jackie turned her head. She was looking at the sheriff and Goldman who were watching them. They were too far away to hear them. Nick looked at his watch. “Time is ticking, Jacquelyn. It’s 11:40.” Jackie looked at her watch. She blew out with annoyance. “We’ll have a wonderful time. I promise. And Garvey’s will be fine. Jodi has run it on the weekends without you before.” She turned and looked at her precious Mustang. She pouted. Nick wanted to lean down and suck that bottom lip.

Jessica whined while crying with tears, snots and all, Jerry not only pitied her but Jack's shirt too. "Okay, okay, but can someone at least tell me what's going on here?" Jerry asked. "I'll say everything," Jason said unusually calm. *** "So, Jack is not our paternal brother?" Jean asked coldly. "Yeah," Jason answered. "And, mum wants to divorce dad, huh?" Jean asked again. "Yes," Jason answered perfunctorily. There was silence again, Jessica was being consoled by Jerry who hugged her, she really was a still kid, 12 years was but a young child, these things weren't really things kids should hear especially in their own families!

she laughed, "it makes me think that you had to take care of yourself because your mother can't! By the way, how old are you?" "Well," Kai said while glancing briefly to where his mother disappeared before looking at her again. "I'm five." "You're still five?!" Jack exclaimed. "You sound like 20! Don't tell me you're actually turning 20 this year." He laughed at his own joke while the others looked at him like he lost his head and his mind was replaced with his butt. "No," Kai said in confusion. "I just turned five this January." Oh, all of them though, he's a kid after all.

A sob breaks hard. She rubs my back in a soothing manner. Jackie is not only my mum’s gossip partner but someone who watched over me when I was a little kid. “It’s going to be okay, dear.” She pulls away, water in her eyes and kind, brown ones peering into mine. “I don’t know what happened, but I’m glad you are safe and alright. I’m sure Lizzy is glad, too… wherever she is.” I nod, sniffing. “Be happy, child.”
