Echoes Of A Shattered Heart

Echoes Of A Shattered Heart

"Well if you must know, I didn't bring a purse.* Circling her waist, I open the hidden compartment beside the minibar and take out the brand new and latest Kindle I bought for her. I pass it to her. "Here." *You bought me a Kindle? she asks, amazed. "Why? I already have one." 'I bought one for each of my cars so you don't have to worry about carrying it everywhere. Or forgetting like you do with your phone." "That's really thoughtful of you daddy," she whispers breathlessly. clutching the e-reader tighter. The city lights dancing on her face. "'i pay y-"

The Alpha's Rose

The Alpha's Rose

“I really hadn’t thought about it yet. Usually Sundays are a double shift in the diner. Ummm, I don’t know. Library maybe?” “Melinda and I went yesterday, Mama. Oh, she got you this,” Maddie runs into the living room and picks up a small black device. It’s about 3x the size of a phone and Maddie runs back over to me. “It’s a kindle. She said you have an unlimited account now so you can read whatever you want to. And it’s already connected to the library, so you don’t have to go there to check out digital books. Just pick one and it’ll d******d. Although it does still have a limit on how many books you can have ‘checked out’ at one time. I’ve got one too, but I wanted to have a few actual boo

Readers! Thank you all for being patient with me. The last 6mo has been a bit crazy in both my personal and professional lives. Happy to say that many great things are happening right now but those have hindered my writing a bit. I’m happy to report that Maddie’s book has been submitted.

One of the best authors on this site!! Love her!! The story is well written, progresses well, engaging and I can really feel for the characters. Love the strong female characters that have strength of will, personality, without the whole damsel in distress trope, excellent strong male leads.

My choice please

My choice please

"Hey Elsa, If you were to pick between George and Jaden, who would you go for?" "Hahaha," Elsa laughed. "I see what you're trying to do there." Elsa replied. "C'mon now, just make a choice." Jane continues to persuade her. "Well......, I can't tell for sure what is wrong with George but he's cute tho although not as cute as Jaden. He's still our mate. Maybe we can help him." "I don't remember asking if we can help him. I only asked who you'd choose but since you've said it like that, I wonder what he's suffering from."

The Triplets' Silent Mate

The Triplets' Silent Mate

Not loud, not something that drew attention—but grounding and useful. The electronics store caught my eye. Inside, it was clean and quiet. Phones lined one wall in various sizes. I moved through them without much deliberation—too complicated, too flashy, too much to navigate without help. I narrowed it down quickly. Something durable, straightforward, nothing that would overwhelm her or demand anything she wasn't ready to give. My hand settled on one near the middle of the display. Not the most expensive. Not the cheapest. Solid. Reliable. The kind of thing that lasted.

“Thank you.” They continued on, browsing various aisles, selecting board games, puzzles, and a compact karaoke machine. Every item revealed a different aspect of Kendall—her joy, her enthusiasm, her sincere warmth. And with each interaction, Jason found himself drawn to her more. “Alright,” Kendall said as they reached the electronics section, “how about something a little techy? Like a tablet or a digital camera?” Jason grinned. “Who knew you’d be so forward-thinking? But yeah, sounds like a good idea.” He glanced down at the items already in their cart. "These children are going to be pampered."

I have been opportune to read the first episode n it's very interesting n captivating that I want to know the full story. Imagining how a single lady hoping to start life ahead will go for a test just to be told that she is cancerous, oh my God! for me it's devastating. This unfolding story is wow!

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Challenged him. Why was she here? She found herself considering how to leave. Politely. He grinned. “What I mean is the life is different when the body, the book, is, what, a computer tablet? A teeny-tiny phone?” A long sigh. “Pages, real pages, have a hunger to them. A need that isn’t answered when you push a button or, well, whatever it is you do with a whatchamacallit.” “A Kindle.” “Right. A Kindle. Books are greedy to be read. They’re desperate. That electronic stuff?” He shrugged. “It doesn’t have the feel of the page. It can’t feast on your senses. Your hopes. Your dreams.” A pause as he watched her. “You see?”

Choosing the Right One

Choosing the Right One

Chapman Senior rolled his eyes and shot back, "I may be old, but I'm neither deaf nor blind. Do you really think I'd get something this important wrong?" "Mr. Chapman Senior was very clear. Beatrice chose Nathaniel as her fiancé," Isaac added. George cut him off. "No, that can't be right. There must have been some mix-up!" He then turned to me, desperation in his eyes. "Bea, this is a mistake, right? You picked me, but Grandpa must have misheard." "I chose Nate," I answered with a cold smile. Nathaniel's head snapped up at the way I addressed him, and his eyes widened in disbelief.

TRAPPED IN THE BILLIONAIRE’s BARGAIN

TRAPPED IN THE BILLIONAIRE’s BARGAIN

He had been deeply immersed in whatever he was doing on his tablet. Since that was not going to happen she had left only two options. She could get her kindle and read in the library or she could go out with her kindle and sit in the garden. The latter sounded refreshing so she decided on it. She stood from the sofa and walked to the staircase. She saw Reynolds descending the stairs as she ascended it. They met upon her taking the ninth step. It was ridiculous of her to count her steps but that was the only way to stop checking Reynolds out.

It made my heart flutter to watch him, and in that moment, I forgot we were ever arguing at all. “Well, I couldn’t really decide on what book to get you, since I guess we don’t talk about that kind of stuff very much. But I know you really like books, because I watch you a lot. Not in a creepy way though, I mean, I just notice things—” How sweet, I thought, gazing up at him while he fumbled for words. “Anyway, I thought you should get your pick, you know? Whatever you want. It’s a Kindle, and there’s a lifetime subscription already on it. I figured it would be useful because you’re always carrying around those heavy stacks of books and needing help with carrying them around.”

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!

Frequently Asked Questions

the key is to match it to your reading habits. If you're a casual reader who just wants to carry books without the bulk, the basic Kindle is perfect—it's affordable, lightweight, and gets the job done. But if you love reading outdoors or in bright light, the Paperwhite’s glare-free screen and waterproofing are worth the extra cost. I upgraded to the Paperwhite last year, and the adjustable warm light makes nighttime reading so much easier on the eyes. Avoid the Oasis unless you’re a hardcore reader who needs physical buttons and a premium feel—it’s overkill for most people.
