The little guy transformed mid-air into his dragon form—a small, golden-scaled dragon—and blocked the opening. He roared, “Bro! She’s finally warmed her feet, yet you just blew open the ceiling. Now, all the cold air is coming in!” There was a dead silence. Cold wind howled through the broken ceiling, whipping my hair everywhere. The Dragon Emperor’s brows furrowed tightly as his gaze shifted between the little dragon and me. Finally, he spoke in a low voice, “How many days has it been?” The little dragon lifted his head proudly. “Three days!”
