We order our drinks — mine a decaf, now — and find our way to the parenting section. Bill picks up a book called "How to Baby-Proof Literally Everything" and gives me a playful look. "Looks like I'll have to study up for when he's over here," he jokes, making me laugh at the thought of our energetic little one exploring Bill's spotless apartment. He quickly looks through the book and then, with a smile, shows me another one. "How about 'Dad Jokes for Every Occasion'? Gotta be ready," he jokes, and I playfully roll my eyes, laughing with him.

"She gets a good-night kiss, too." "Done." "And positive affirmations." "Uh-hub." "And...and..." "Klaus." I gripped her shoulders, forcing eye contact on her. "Go." I read the child Gravity a ridiculously humorous book called I Need a New Butt. To me, it was the height of literature. Fart jokes? Yes. Crack jokes? Yes. Stupid pranks? Yes. The child was a handful, but at least she had an idea about selecting good books. I then covered her with a blanket as if to smother a fire.

It was almost 30 minutes yet we haven’t found one of the 3 books. “Damn this!” I curse as I look at the pile of books with frustration. I then heard Henry amusedly laughs at me. I look at him really pissed. “What’s so funny?” I said sounding so pissed. “Come on, what’s the use of being the daughter of a well-known businessman and a granddaughter of the 3rd richest man in the business world if you torture yourself digging into these books? You can just call someone and that book will be with you in no time.” He said amusedly I throw at him 1 book that he caught in time.

"Wendy loves me. This isn't over—" Wendy gave her answer right away, and it was a big, fat slap across Zack's face. "Don't listen to him, Felix. I don't like guys like him. He's just a toy. A toy I throw away once I'm bored of him." She held up her thermos and uncapped it. The air was filled with the aroma of mushroom and egg custard. "You must be hungry. I got this for you."

Only two seem to be nonfiction and self help books, yet when i check what content they will be self helping me with i feel surprise running through me. "The delicate art of seduction and manipulation." I fling that one to a corner of the room and pick up the other. "How to make men beg for a chance to fuck you." I fling that one even harder and it joins its partner on the floor near my wardrobe. There are four remaining. Four novels which I have two days to myself to devour. The smile that works its way up my face is radiant. I'm going to have such a good time.

“You’re making me feel stupid!” That made me laugh. You can’t blame me, though. If someone will ask me why don’t I add humor in talking or basically in my life, I will just point my books then turn away. Simply, my life only revolves in my books. So, why should I add humor in it? It’s not like it’s a requirement for you to stay alive. My friends know how deep my mindset is. For me, mindset is everything. Even them couldn’t catch up with the way I view everything. They’re having a hard time understanding those. Turns out for them I’m a whole mystery that no can be able to solve.

Smiling, I knew exactly where I would spend most of my days. Taking this time to explore the books on all the shelves, I can’t help but find all sorts of novels within them. Books ranging from History all the way to Fiction. Law books to Art books, books even leaning towards the Erotica side of things. There was even a shelf solely made for cooking. Hmm… Thinking as to how I was going to start my revenge for all the shit they put me through, I knew only one thing when it came to mind and that was they were definitely way too serious, which was never a good thing. They needed to relax.
