Hunters will only hunt in Alpha's command along with Beta's and Delta's. Hunters are the ones who are skilled at tracking (search for scents).

"We hunt." ​

"Charlotte? Is that your mother? You are Drew, right?” His fingers shook at the mention of that name. I jumped forward, watching his fidgeting fingers, afraid he was going to press the trigger. Yet he maintained composure and aimed it at me instead. I stopped in my tracks. All the workers around us had already disappeared from the building. The lobby was silent and empty.

My body buzzed with tension, every instinct screaming that something wasn’t right. And then, the gunshot. It was too close. I twisted, moving out of the way just in time as the bullet sliced through the air where I’d been standing. A growl ripped from my throat, my body surging forward as I shifted midair. The transformation sharpened everything—the scents, the sounds, the movement in the shadows. My eyes locked onto one of the hunters pressed against a tree, his rifle raised. I didn’t give him the chance to fire again.

Hunter excitedly looked ahead of them. There was a huge elk that was silently eating a bit of the fallen fruits from the tree. Its huge antlers were almost two feet long, spread out with sharp edges. “That looks like a good target,” Issac whispered crouching down. Everyone also hid behind the huge tree nearby. The elk glanced up as if sensing them. They went silent, looking at the prey. “I want to hunt it,” Hunter whispered with an excited grin. His hand was clutching onto a small dagger that they used back in the island.

It was a hunt. And they were the targets.

It was just after 3am in the morning when Hunter arrived at the address which Adrian had sent to him a few days ago. He had come prepared with a crowbar, gun, and sharp knife, leaving no room for errors. The house was on the outskirts of New-York city, hidden behind tall hedges. Hunter stepped out of his car and quietly made his way up the driveway. He tampered with the security camera that was outside and switched it off before he unlocked the closed door with a crowbar and opened it quietly, not wanting to wake up his opponent.

Logan’s POV I had put everyone on high alert. The entire pack were looking for her. She couldn’t have gotten far. She had maybe a couple minutes head start. Blake, Leo and Calvin were all out helping to search for her as well. Blake had shifted into his large grey wolf. Taking off into the forest in the hopes of picking up her scent. Leo and Calvin were searching the grounds. I should be helping to look. Lana was my mate, but I found myself making my way to my parent’s bedroom.
