.... (Aurora's POV) My heart completely sank. Leaping and almost bursting through my chest, for I have crossed part with the devil himself. And no, he is nothing like the tales told, he is not an ugly red man with horns but rather a beautiful man with luscious hair who can easily bewitch one with just a single stare. His golden brown eyes, which I clearly remembered changing color, shone brighter when he smiled even though I could tell those smiles were fake, all a sham to manipulate another victim....

I raised my head as a sign that I was not concerned about what they thought of me. "Sage!" Aurora chimed up as she saw me. She waved happily and it made wonder how she could behave like a curious child one moment and then the next moment, she was deadly. I used my Twilight eyes to check her energy and saw that she had recently fucked someone to death because her aura was oozing power. "What are you up to?" I asked her as I got closer to her. "Hunting," she replied with excitement. I nodded. This hotel was a battle ground on its own. So it was only right that she stayed lethal.

Or had the strength to mask his disgust for me to mention that. “No.” My voice comes out stronger, a sign of conviction as I focus on Sir Wicker. “Then you're wasting your time. The Auro herb masks itself from the unworthy by generating wraiths that feed on guilt. The stronger the guilt, the stronger the wraiths are.” He states out. “This is what keeps it away from just anyone. And you might be an Alpha’s descendant which is why you can connect to it but without the key, you're not getting through the wraiths.”

"No. I'm not helping. I don't get involved in the business between the Blood Curtains and the Aurora Shadows. Leave." Henry just turned seventy this year. On the East Coast, he was an eccentric old witch doctor with a mysterious bloodline and background. But when it came to treating chronic werewolf diseases, no one on the entire continent could compare to his methods. Back when I first found out that Gillian suffered from incurable migraines stemming from pack wars in her youth, I wanted to win her favor and get the Aurora Shadows pack to truly accept me. She's stunned, too, but at something, meaning there's something I'm missing out. And then, when I think I almost caught it, I hear a scream, "Kira, no!" Deep in my mind, my monster shouts, too, "a remnant of witchery," before the word comes out of my throat, "no!" And with that, I release an aura into the air that numbs every Human senses, such that they won't see anything out of the ordinary.

But he is also sad about something that happened in the past. He shakes his head as if trying to clear it. “What are you doing to me?” he asks me in an accusing voice. But everything falls in the background when in my visual field, I see something resembling a battle camp, and I see the aura of the rogue in the form of a wolf. The wolf-aura of the rogue is black while mine is silver-white, and the one of William’s is yellow. The black aura-wolf tries to attack the yellow aura-wolf, but my aura-wolf jumps between the two of them, protecting the yellow aura-wolf while trying to calm the other.

Aaron said, not having time to give much thought to it as he popped off several more titanium bullets into the black trunks around him. He wouldn’t have much of a chance to investigate either as Hannah’s voice came over the IAC. “I don’t want to alarm you, Aaron, but I don’t have visuals on Aurora any more. And her IAC is black. She says it’s malfunctioning. Seems... strange to me.” “What?” Aaron repeated, not quite understanding. “Aurora?” Why he needed to know that evaded him for a moment before he remembered the warning he’d given his second during the meeting. “Okay—right. Got it.”

Ashamed that I've been caught, I quickly shake my head. “Oh, no. I'm so sorry for staring, it's just so fascinating, being able to treat and heal like that and all. And even if I want to, I don't have any ounce of treating magic in me.” I admit, which is true. Werewolves possess a natural aura about each one of them. For instance, a blue aura stands for the water element and werewolves with this aura usually possess magic relating with healing and for offensive powers, it can range from water bullets to ice daggers. It simply depends on the person and Pack doctors always have this aura.
