He was dressed in dark grey, with leather boots and a matching utility belt that hung at his waist. A gun sat at each hip, separated by a flashlight and a short sheathed knife. I looked up at his face and cringed. His skin was the tannest I'd ever seen, his blue eyes sharp and cold. He had a half sun tattooed on the side of his face, stretching from his right temple down to the tip of his jaw. "Where are you headed?"

"You're one of us, right?" We heard footsteps approaching the bathroom and she immediately released me. We were standing in front of the mirror when the door opened and a blonde guy walked in. He was Aaron. He stared at us strangely and said, ``I thought i heard something, Miss Wilson." I looked at Cathy who turned to the other side. "Nothing. Get out of here. This isn't the male's bathroom." I yelled and he walked out. I turned and saw Cathy seething in anger. Her eyes had turned light blue and I went into her thoughts. 'Hunters.'

Hunter remarks. "Is that so?" I ask, surprised. "Yes. You've already lasted far longer than any of my other toys have. Not only that but for reasons unbeknownst to me, I find myself coming to you to see what sort of carrot you feel you can dangle in front of me. Do you believe me to be a donkey? An animal so stupid to go after a carrot dangling in front of me?" He asks, a dark undertone laced through his words.

He stepped over his twin's twitching corpse, his face twisting into a mask of snarling rage. “Damned hunters!” he roared, his eyes bleeding to black. He lunged for me, fangs bared and dripping with stolen blood.

Getting closer. "Stay together!" Axel shouted, his dagger already burning with flame. The first Hunter emerged from the darkness. It was humanoid but wrong. Too tall, with limbs that bent in directions they shouldn't. Its skin was translucent, showing bones and organs that pulsed with dark energy. And those eyes—burning red, filled with hunger. It moved fast. Inhumanly fast. Axel met it head-on, his flaming dagger slashing across its chest. The blade connected, cutting deep. The Hunter screeched and stumbled back.

We heard from your uncle that he is dead and since then we have been watching you.” he explained

he laughed. Hunter stepped back shielding Ludo and Walu. “I wanted to spare your life but i am killing you now Devi.” Hunter charged but was stunned by the taser he went down on his knees. Devi was surprised he didn’t go down that easily. He watched him being fried but he was trying to get up till he got immobile and dropped down. Devi then pounded him with a final blow to the head and watched as he fell face flat on Dumi’s body.

Hunter finishes with a hard look. “So you’re-” He cuts me off. “A hybrid. Half Undead, half werewolf. My brothers are pure werewolves.” Wow. I realize that I said that out loud when I hear Hunter’s laughter, his eyes crinkling with amusement. “Glad you think so, little mate.” He presses his lips to my forehead before gazing at me adoringly, caressing my cheek with his thumb. We stay outside for few more hours, just talking and getting to know each other.
