They stopped before me, the engines coming off one after the other. Henrique Crimson Sparrow took off his helmet, his short strawberry blonde visible under the full moon's light. He had a scar running down his chin. He smiled, stepping off his bike. “You nuts have a death wish, Xavier? Coming here alone?” I smiled back, a cold smile devoid of any humor. “Who says I’m alone?” Henrique Crimson Sparrow looked confused, and looked around the space. Henrique followed my movements with his eyes. Then, the forest came to life.

Xander hugged her from behind, cheek pressed to her nape, and said, “We’ll find her.” She didn’t answer, but let his arms circle her until the panic ebbed low. *** Crossing the river was a ritual now, a test. The creature's eyes were on her. Victoria spotted the hunter's crossbow. Grabbing it hastily off the ground, Victoria aimed it at it's eyes and fire. She jumped to the right as the creature's scaly tail came towards her in a swinging motion. Lucky for her, the dagger she clutched so tightly in her hands transferred it's magical powers to the crossbow, thus the crossbow shot arrows fused with magic. It hit and struck the creature bringing it down.

He’s human,” Xander said, scoffing in disdain. “I want you to trace the scent. I need to find the mask behind the penetration of these filthy hunters,” Xander said and Aurora nodded.
