Nixy Montgomery Ah good to be young and alive in such a beautiful city called, Miami, we changed cities. How do you explain someone why they look the same age after many years later? it was a must. I'm still human. I haven't reached 20 yet. I'm just 18 and I'm still debating if I want to be a vampire. I want to be able to have a family of my own in the future.

The two left the room and silence prevailed on the other end of the line, while I remained standing there, paralyzed, processing all the information. I couldn't believe that Raven actually thought I thought she was childish and uneducated. My God! She was only seventeen and one of the wisest people I knew! There was nothing childish about her, except for the number that represented her age, and I thought I had already made that clear.

I want them to eat immediately once they are here. Also, I am the one who’s organizing my birthday celebration. As you know, I love organizing stuff like this. I am very hands-on. I can’t imagine that I am now turning 18 years old. I am thankful for my 18 years of existence in this world. The legality age is now waiting for me. I faced a lot of problems and I have a lot of responsibilities now at a young age. Grateful is the number one word I can say as of now. Even though this year is rough not only for me, we are still surviving. That is one of the things I am thankful for. Lord gave me a talent that I can use to earn a living.

When he mentioned the name of that witch stalker girl, I immediately got up and went to the bathroom, even though my eyes were still closed. If there is one person I hate and don't want to see in this world, it is none other than Ha Young, or better known as Ms. Young. We were only four years old when we met. Our parents were friends, so we became close, and I always saw her irritated face.

I add quickly. A small smile tugs at my lips as a quiet chuckle moves through the room. It eases something. Just a little. “Around 16 years old,” I continue, my voice settling again. “I was feeling this pressure inside me like something wanted to be free… for some days.”

Mia POV. My name is Mia, I'm sixteen, or I think I am, it's what my mother says I am, she hates me, like really hates me. The bruises on my body stand witness to her tough love, to how she treats me, when everyone else get to go to school, make friends and be classified by my age, I wasn't I was locked inside.

The audacity? "I am nineteen, and an adult." I try to explain. "Okay. I am sorry ma'am. I apologize ma'am." He says sincerely managing to pacify half of my annoyance. In what way do I look fifteen? Forget about the short height. Nineteen year olds can be short too. Or is it the lack of boobs? "Still it is dangerous for you to walk around without any guardian around. Did you come with someone, ma'am?" "No." I lie.

This night would never come back. I was just twenty-one year old girl and it was okay to say I wasn't okay. "Take me home."

It’s been sitting inside me for a long time, waiting for the right moment and the right person to finally hear how foolish I’ve been. I let out a deep breath. “When I was younger, I liked a guy. His name was Theo.” Now that I’ve said it, I sit up a little straighter. It suddenly feels more serious than I expected. “And when I say younger,” I add quickly, “I mean really young. Like… ten years old.” Mae gives a small nod, calm and attentive. “I’m not trying to justify anything,” I continue. “I just need you to understand how young I was. I’m not proud of some of the things I’ve done, but I don’t think I’m that kind of stupid anymore. At least, I hope not.”
