Suddenly, our last conversation took a stroll in my mind. "I love you..." "I love you too...." Did it really happen or is it a dream?

I can't do anything about it, nor he can. When the man placed our order, Carter looked at him sharply. I gave him a quick "thank you" before he left without glancing at me. Carter must have scared him so much. "So what about your dream?" he asked eagerly. "About that..." I paused, organizing all the thoughts in my dumb mind. "Um, as what I've told you. I dreamed about you, once. Last night. I saw you... red eyed and fanged." The last words came out like a whisper.

Maybe I fell off the floor while sleeping and didn't even realize it. "That's why my head hurts so much, what was my dream last night that didn't even wake me up when I fell off the couch?" I pondered. And then my memory from last night came into my mind which surprised me. I covered my mouth to suppress myself to shout for joy about my dream last night. " That was the best dream ever!" I happily said to myself while I smiled sheepishly. It's wonderful to know that I kissed Ranie again in my dream. It's the same intensity that we kissed before. But the difference between last night's dream and previous ones is that we are both yearning for each other's lips.

"I was dreaming," I said, my voice dripping with honeyed sarcasm. "I was dreaming of a life where I’m finally divorced from you. The sheer joy of it kept me awake. It was a beautiful, peaceful hallucination." The irony was clear in my expression.

“Last night I dreamed of taking you on a hot air balloon ride through the Mexican Alps. The wind was blowing your hair in your face, but you were laughing and smiling at me with love in your eyes.” “Yesterday’s dream was of us enjoying a five-course meal on the deck of a river cruise in the Netherlands.
