Author’s Note Hello, dear readers, I want to apologize to all of you who have reached this point and are reading without fully understanding what’s happening. After spending time rereading the book, I realized there were many repeated pieces of information and that the story wasn’t moving forward—it kept circling the same situations.

I was speechless. 'Ah, I forgot about that.' The book I was reading was called 《The Male Lead's Lover》. It was a story filled with crappy cliché, and I also don’t know what I ate to read that kind of book. Maybe I was momentarily out of my mind and bought that book in the bookstore, or maybe I was asleep as I picked that book on the shelf.

I said aloud reading out the title from a chapter I had been skimming through over the last couple of days. I had picked the book up while going for groceries and at first I had been drawn to the colors of the book and the Afro-American author at the back when I picked it up but reading it now had open my eyes to a whole lot of things, Jane had called it brainwashing but i I didn't care if my brains were shining sparkling white after I was done with it. Just then the front door opened and I heard people chattering. I had been so lost in thought that I had forgotten about Jane's instructions earlier this morning.

I was not going to take the risk to find out. Jackpot! I had read the book over and over again but everytime I tried reading it again, it still had the element like it kept generating new spells or maybe I just had poor memory. I read the pages, the handwritten warnings and say the exact words a few times aiming to memorize it,

Until then, I'd better continue reading— My train of thought was broken as soon as I flipped the page of the new book I was reading. I saw and read a paragraph that stood out to me and could be the answer I had been searching for. I let my eyes take in the paragraph again and even read it out loud, my voice hoarse with disbelief.
