I close my eyes again as I slip back into a deep sleep. I wake up hearing noises in the room. I recognize it. But I strongly take it as a dream. I crack open my eyes to assure myself. My mother, aunts and sisters are talking in whispers, momi and aunts are sitting on the couch and my sisters are standing at some distance. There's a disapproving look on their faces.

“I'll be your shield…even if I have to set myself on fire to do it.” Then his body jerks in his sleep, his hands shoot out, grabbing mine as he whines having a nightmare, and then a broken word leaves his mouth, “Incoming Truck.”

He says and I fake cry. “I’m so sorry.” I say feeling bad. “I didn’t know I talk in my sleep.” I say looking at him feeling sorry that he had to listen to me talk in my sleep. Shudder at the thought of what I said. I hope I wasn’t complaining the whole time.

His words were clear. I just hoped my mind was deceiving me.

I coyly smiled at him as I asked, “What are you talking about? How do you know what I'm dreaming?” “I know because every time you have that dream you talk in your sleep. You talk about Laylan, Artimous, Grealan and Ivy. Then you're hard to wake up after that. I was just curious as to what your dream was about,” he finished and his lips curled at the edges into a smile.
