Not that I care. My head almost snaps up when I hear the tell-tale noise of people boarding the plane. Holding my breath, blood draining from my face as I stare at my exposed knees and wish I could sink into oblivion. My heart lurches and my stomach knots, I start inhaling slowly to calm all outward reaction to him boarding. Jenny reaches out, taking my hand in hers and squeezes gently. Reassuringly sweet as always and giving me just what I need. I take another deep breath to calm my outward persona and try to stay unflustered.
