I Love To Read Novels & Stories

I didn't expect talking to him to feel this easy, but somehow, I find myself enjoying every conversation and wanting to know more about him. “Hmm…” I tap my chin thoughtfully, trying to come up with an answer. “I don't think I have that many hobbies, but, um… I like reading a lot. And I guess most of the things I do for fun involve reading too. I like cooking, especially trying new recipes, even though they sometimes turn out terribly. I enjoy going for walks when I need to clear my head, and I like taking pictures of random things. I also like being alone and spending time with myself.” I smile a little. “I'm a nerd.”

What's your favorite book?" "Oh, that's a tough one," I replied, thinking back to all the books I've read. "I would have to say 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. It's a classic for a reason."

What better way to eliminate boredom than by reading a book? I had recently downloaded a reading app, where you can read your favourite stories of different genres. Right now I am reading a novel called Loving Hayden. It is about two teens who were once archenemies but later became friends with their enemies. Okay, maybe not friends with benefits, more like enemies with benefits. I was eager to see where their relationship was going to lead. I continue to flip through my phone as I read the story. I was so engrossed with the story that I didn't realize how much time had passed. I was disturbed by the sound of a knock at the door.

I hate early morning alarms! Especially the 5 O'clock ones I set for myself so I can wake up on time for school. They always ring every time I'm just getting very snuggly under my bedcovers and enjoying the second round of tranquil sleep. It doesn't help that I always read a book when I'm supposed to be in bed. Yeah, I'm a nerd and I know it. I bet you are too, ha ha.

“If you hate it so much, why read it?“ “Who said I hate it? I enjoy reading books where the main character is different from my personality. I think it’s no fun when I’m too similar to a character, it would be like I’m reading a story about myself, when I’m reading to escape the reality of my life.” Oh, he thinks deeply. Not expecting that from him, to be honest. I mean, it’s not that he looks dumb, but he just doesn’t look like the “smart, bookworm” type either.

I am reaching a great milestone in my life; here I am completing my first book with so much love. Books are the greatest but simple magic for letting us live a fantasy just by turning the pages. I love to read books very much because it was an escape for me from my real life. Not that I have a troublesome life; but I love to roam around the fantasies and adventures rather than the boring robotic life.
