"Excuse me? Baby fats you say? Ha! What's the use of having daily proper exercise and being an athlete if I have baby fats? And if you are talking about intestinal worms, well, sorry to burst your bubble, babe, but I am too healthy to have those." he said, smirking. Knowing my best friend, she wouldn't let herself lose. And as expected, she retorted, "Proper exercise and athlete my ass! And nope, I'm not talking about intestinal worms, you're too old for that. Yours are probably snake!"

JACKSON POV I roll my shoulders. After working out for three hours, Jason and I finally felt a little bit better. We both use exercise as stress relief typically. Something our parents taught us. I smile to myself, thinking about the time mom out lifted dad. Dad, Jason, and I had been down in the gym pumping for a competition dad was going to enter when mom had come in. Jason had made a comment about how mom could never lift like dad. We were nine at the time and a little pig-headed. Mom had laughed, shoved dad out of the way, and benched his max weight.

He continued cooking eggs, arguing with me casually, in a way that I hated to admit I loved. "If this is where you tell me your favorite thing to do is work out, I'm moving." He shot me a grin over his shoulder. "I don't personally work out. I'd rather read a book." "Ditto." I tried to focus on my assignment, but now that Jesse had gotten me ranting, I had a million things to say. "Why do guys think it's sexy to say they love working out, though? Is it supposed to make us think of sex or something? Because when a guy tells me his favorite hobby is the gym, I immediately think he's a few brain cells short of intelligent." Jesse laughed.

"Come on! One more minute! Punch faster...faster!" my trainer exclaimed. I started punching the punching bag faster and faster, my muscles were burning with the exercise I had done. I swivelled and then kicked the punching bag on the marked spot… which was quite high today.

I yelled at him. That didn't stop him from throwing his head backward and laughing as though I had made another joke. Did this man ever consider my feelings? I looked outside just to keep myself calm but was surprised when his fingers drummed on my arm. "I'm sorry if my jokes make you angry, it only means that you are not as immune as you would claim to be. I do not only win my opponents with my business ideas; I win them through my lovely jokes. If you don't know how to take a joke then maybe you also need to get yourself checked."

I reflex it and Jeffrey gave it a squeeze. "You call that muscle. If you play with that muscle, I could win you in no time." he said, laughing. "Yeah, by crushing people." I said, laughing at my joke. He rolled his eyes. "What? It's true and you know it. The truth hurts, I know." I said, acting out my sympathy. I patted his shoulders. "You want me to sit on you again?" he said. I widened my eyes, "I pass, but you can do that to the football team."

My mother-in-law says and I already took a bite of the cake, putting a huge piece in my mouth. “I want cake too,” Jennifer says already helping herself. “You two have been eating so much...” Mom says looking at me and Jennifer looking suspicious. “I’ve been exercising a lot,” Jennifer says, already helping herself and throwing a sweet in her mouth. "Since when? You don’t even go to the gym.” Mom says making an "Ata" face at Jennifer. “Enrico is making her work out in his private gym...” I say laughing. “Allison!” Jennifer says embarrassed and we laugh.

Which is rather difficult as he watches me repeatedly squirming in my chair next to him in meetings. “Is something wrong, Nora? You look uncomfortable?” He whispers at one point, leaning in while the others are busy discussing one point of the proposal. I freeze and slowly turn to look at him. “I, uh… I went to the gym.” I laugh awkwardly, blurting out the first thing that comes into my head. “Spin class. You know, the bikes, and the seats aren’t… great.” He chuckles as he keeps his eyes on the table. “Maybe you should find a different way of exercising then. Watching you squirm isn’t ideal while I’m trying to focus, you know.”

I don’t want to get too comfortable with that thought though. *We need to find that stream,* Laney whines, making our nose wiggle again. “Ah-choo,” I sneeze. “I’d offer you a hanky but… no pockets,” Harley jests. I look up to see him tapping his belly. And of course, there’s absolutely no movement. No pudgy spots on his body whatsoever. It just isn’t fair. No matter how many crunches I do, any kind of repetitive exercise, I still have a little jiggle in my belly. My boobs are still too big and hang lower than I’d like.

Especially when it came to a man like Jefferson. Jefferson smiled with satisfaction. "Good girl, we'll exercise more in the morning from now on so that your stamina will improve." "You're shameless." It hadn't been long after they just finished 'exercising', and he was already thinking of doing it again. Was he an animal? Jefferson said, "There are plenty of people who wake up early in the morning to jog and train their stamina. How was that shameless?" "I..." It turned out that was what Jefferson was talking about.
