The kind of smile that never reached his eyes. “People give me fake names all the time. It never ends well for them.”

He crushes his lips against mine. It's like fireworks are going off in my body. It feels like a million years of separation have been overcome, at last. I feel myself melt into him. The kiss turns passionately before I pull away. This is not the time for that especially with so many kids around. We go and sit on the blanket. I take out a water bottle for myself. "Do you want anything?" "Water is fine thank you." I hand Patrick a water bottle and we stare at the two kids playing.

She looked at me confused. "Lexie, it's forever, isn't it?" I knew it was, but I wanted her to understand how much it meant to me before opening that box. "Because I won't survive if it isn't." I looked at her as if begging for confirmation, searching her eyes for any doubt or fear she might still have. She pressed her forehead against mine and took a deep breath. "Honey, it was always forever! I was made for you! And I can only love you! And there's nothing, no one, besides you who can make me happy. You're my world, Patrick, you always have been! I love you forever!"

Patrick got back on his feet and Caspian landed him another harder punch this time and Patrick crashed into a nearby table and the table shattered and woods splintered across the floor. “You were sleeping with my sister?” The room practically vibrated with Caspian’s fury. Patrick stood up slowly and touched his bleeding mouth. “I love her, Caspian. I have loved her for a long time now. I would never hurt her. Never.” Caspian lunged again but this time three warriors moved instinctively, grabbing his arms before he could reach Patrick. It barely slowed him down. Caspian laughed so loudly. “Love? You call this love? Sneaking around like cowards?”

She offered him one of her earpieces with a playful smile. Sean accepted it with a nod, placing the small device into his ear. The music begins with an energetic beat laced with electronic undertones. He nodded along with the rhythm, his head slightly swaying as the melody grew more lively. After a minute, he glanced sideways at Lucy, a spark of recognition lighting his eyes. “This is... Running to You Will Be All That I Have, isn’t it?” He said, confirming his guess with a raised brow. Lucy’s smile widened, her cheeks glowing faintly. “You got it! I thought this track would suit you. The theme for this year is all about love, after all. What do you think?”
