Daniel sneers, stepping to stand in front of me. “Only a fool would be happy to see the face of the snake who once tried to kill him,” I reply with just as much bitterness.

I was trapped, with no escape from the deadly reptile. The air was thick with tension, the only sound the soft rustling of the snake's scales as it prepared to unleash its deadly venom. I was alone, facing my mortality, with no one to save me from the jaws of death. Time seemed to freeze, and I waited.

I said to him as I opened the drawers of the desk. “That’s awesome!” he said loudly. “How old are you Link?” I asked him. “Eighteen Sire,” he said to me. “Well I’m nineteen so call me Ryder please,” I said and he smiled again. “Sure thing boss,” he said and I laughed as I shook my head. “What dragon do you have?” I asked him. “Violet,” he said proudly. “You should’ve been able to lay claim to the lair yourself and kill Andrew,” I said to him.

The snake was the size of a desert cobra, red in colour, with green eyes and a black slithering toungue. "Bring her back to me!" The snake said,slithering still. "She is not yours to have,she created you,now you will listen!" Said Chloe. Monea began to move,she coughed slightly then stood up. "What is this?" She asked. Then she looked at the glass chamber and saw the snake she created. "Oh now I remember! Take me to my father where I asked you to!" She demanded "Your father is dead,so us your mother if you want them then come inside!" Said the snake.

It felt amazing! I looked up and I saw that the big snake was now in front of me. The snake was almost twenty feet tall, and it was a king cobra with three red eyes. I could hear its voice, and it was the same voice as the voice that was laughing at my prayer in my room. I was frozen in fear again. I couldn't even close my eyes because I was petrified with fear.

“Of course not my King.” “Explain then why my dragon is feeling enamored of Miss Grey here, that something is shutting my dragon out, wanting to stay hidden.” “My King, my sister’s dragoness is naturally shy.” “Her what?” His rough voice echoed around the room as his eyes flashed yellow in disbelief. “My sister has merged with her dragoness.” “Impossible!” Sorin was playing his role excellently. “Scylla …” My voice was soft and coaxing. Scylla was a wild card in this whole plan because it would all go to shit if she lashed out at him.

Albus Mons took me when I was just five, so the knowledge of my species is limited. I am a nagata; a serpent being, but unlike a mutolupus, I do not have a spirit that resides within me. I am the human, and I am the snake. I am stronger and faster than a wolf with superior senses. I know my mother was a nagata and my father was a mutolupus, yet I am not a hybrid.

I decided to just pretend I didn't know the snake was Miles. I pretended I had just picked up a stray snake as a pet, while Miles pretended he really was just a pet. The snake, thinking I didn't know its real identity, started causing trouble. Every day, it kept asking to cuddle. As soon as I woke up, I would always find it wrapped around some part of me. When I used my phone, the snake would curl up on my chest and stick its head out to watch with me. If a video with a ripped guy showed up, it would shove the screen away with its head.

"That's fine. I will build it." Suddenly, I wanted to tell him everything about myself. Every single event, my childhood, my dreams, my plans, and my goals. Frowning, I bit my lip and quickly changed the conversation. "I like the color, White. I have trypanophobia which is fear of needles or injections, and ophidiophobia, a fear of snakes-" "Snakes? I think you are not afraid of my snake for sure." He added in between. If I was drinking water, I would have coughed it.
