I wish I could do that right now but too bad I have to go to work. Looking out to the window of my van , watching the rain drops dropped all over my window. Adele’s song was playing on the background giving me the feelings of missing home and my comfy bed. I love my work but sometimes we need our ‘ME’ time right?

This feels good…. My heart begins to grow heavier and heavier as each tiny drop covers my once dry self. Though a smile has appeared onto my lips , my heart bleeds. I smile at the fact that though I am bleeding on the inside , the weather takes my side by resembling my bleeding heart and soul and showers me. Why am I standing in the rain , when I could easily wait inside the gym?

The more he gets jealous, the more I feel elated.

But not a normal type of rain, it was a fucking storm, like heavy type of rain, the kind of rain that goes on in hot countries, when it rains, it fucking rains. I could tell by the way Jennifer was picking the little picnic thingies that she was getting angry. I tried to help her but she wouldn't let me, so I stood there in the rain looking at her while shoved everything into a bag with anger. I could tell she wasn't okay, it didn't take a genius to know it... She isn't okay. She was trying very hard to pretend she was okay.

As the rain poured relentlessly outside, I found myself drawn to the window, my heart heavy with a mix of nerves and unexplained sadness. Each raindrop seemed to mirror the strange ache within me, falling with a gentle but persistent rhythm. “Who is she?.......” I mumbled to myself watching the droplets slide down the glass, blurring the world outside, mirroring the unexplainable tears that threatened to escape my eyes. The pitter-patter of rain became a soothing soundtrack to my racing thoughts, as I grappled with the weight of my emotions.

The whole room is filled with the poisonous smell, how can I not feel it before. The rain continously pouring down from last night without taking a second break. A girl with black umbrella walk slowly take steady steps to prevent getting slip. A harsh wind hit making her umbrella almost flew but she hold it tightly and again started walking. She is doing the same throughout the way getting soaked a little. And that girl is none other than me. Lilly take a day off as she hate rain but me being a peacock come out chiming just to enjoy it. Afterall it's the first rain of the season but now I regret my decision as it's no longer a smooth romantic rain but a wild one.

It was raining again. Not the soft, romantic kind of rain. The soak you through your bones, make you late to everything, gray-for-days kind. Jeff hated the rain. Which was why I was surprised when I got a text that afternoon: "Be ready in 15. Wear something you can get muddy in." I stared at the message like it had come from an alien. Then again, Jeff had been… different lately. Softer. Less guarded. Like he was trying. Really trying.

He answered loudly as he turned the volume higher than before. I chortled and sang the song. I turned the windows down of the jeep and rested my hand out to let the light rain hit my skin, it makes me happy. I always feel like a child whenever it rains. It washes away all my worries and the darkness that turns my heart into the darkest shade of black.
