The man whispered as he shuffled back into the darkness where he came from, and I never saw him again for three days. Whenever I was at work, I recalled our first meeting and wished to see him again, but days went by and my wish was not granted. It was on an unsuspicious day when I was doing my last shift, and the mysterious man suddenly showed up, out of the blue, he told me his name — Sean. He asked me to stop working and come with him — happy as I was, I did as I was told and just like that, I was introduced to Mr M. That was the day I realized that I regretted agreeing to do anything to be given a job.

[MADISON] "Maddie…" a man called out as he walked up to me. I’d nearly killed him yesterday, thinking he was never going to back down—but somehow, he made me hesitate. I don’t have amnesia. I remember everything, crystal clear. I remember the four men standing in front of me now. I just didn’t expect to see him again so soon.

Well, he was not specific about the people he wanted to see. "I didn't call anyone else since you were not specific about the people you want to see. Who are you? And why are you here?" I asked that strange man in a low tone while staring at him. He looked oddly familiar to me. And I couldn't remember meeting a fairy in my entire life. Either I was going crazy or that man was doing something to me.

There was a light in his eyes, and he was smiling at the person who had taken this picture. "No, I don’t," I said. I was not lying when I said that, I truly did not know who this man was. I did not know know him. And what was I going to tell them, that I had hallucinated this man? I was thrust into this world of these blessed beings and werewolves, but despite knowing all that, my hallucinating about a man felt utterly stupid. I must have seen or heard something related to this somewhere; it was now returning to me in the form of a dream or hallucination. Whatever the hell it was?

Illusion. Yes. That was it. All of that is not true. Maybe it was the product of stress and too much frustration. It can't be possible, I said to myself when I woke up on my bed the next day. I remember everything that happened on the rooftop. What the man said and what I saw in his eyes. I also remembered how Nari came and called me. And the next second, the stranger disappeared on thin air as if he wasn't even there. Nari didn't even see him. So, I thought everything that happened was just an illusion.

I just feel bored, and there is nothing else I can do, isn't this fine? After surfing the internet for a few minutes and finally deciding to close it, something suddenly captures my attention. It's a picture of a man and Clarissa. Charity is also with them too. I quickly recognize the man to be the dude at my company the other time. The one that suddenly disappeared and the company didn't seem to have data about him.

Ruth and the others even went out for drinks last night in celebration, on me. Now I wait for my meeting to begin with Ms Tate, the lady we have been in contact with, the narration says she wanted to finalize some details and- A man appears on my screen. I blink in surprise, but no, he remains there, fingers steeped under his chin and looking at me. Did I join the wrong meeting? Is there an error? Is that even possible? He cleared his throat and I sat up straight. “I’m sorry, there seems to be some kind of a mistake, this meeting was scheduled with Tate Malcolm?” It came off as a question.

"A random woman I met on a party. I don't know her name, though. She didn't tell me." A few cheap I mentioned in mind. I never thought of it! Who is the man who will remember even that detail! "T-Too bad. I hope we met. I'm sure we'll get along then ..." To my horror I have nothing else to say! He chuckled. "You think so?" I tilted my head to see if Maddy or Baron had returned so I could escape here. But they're both nowhere to be found. If you look at it that way! "Excuse me, Markus. I'll be back there by the pool," I said so I could take my exit.

Isn't change the only constant we're all guaranteed? But my waiting did not materialize. I got a text that Jared was writing and he would not be able to make it today. He also said that he cannot even talk to anyone at the moment so he was switching his phone off. I was looking at my mobile with shock…I had been stood up.
