He stares me down still, jaw clenched, looking as though one word from me could send him straight for my neck again.
“She isn’t intending to kill anyone, Time. You know that,” Thought reprimands firmly, glancing back at me with a softening expression. “We will work on that. For now, it’s the middle of the night, and you both look like you need a shower and some sleep. We will make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
Time swallowed, still glowering at me, but reluctantly walked from the room.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened,” I breathe, still numb from all that is happening. I don’t want this...I don’t want to be like Thought.
