She went perfectly still, held captive by the sincerity in my tone. “You asked me who I was looking for, Irene,” I continued, leaning in until only the width of the table separated us. “The truth is, I had amnesia about the night we met. I didn’t remember the club.” I held her gaze. “But my body remembered you.” My voice dropped lower. “My nervous system remembered exactly how it felt to be awake for the first time in years.”

I said to her, she stared at me in confusion, her eyebrows raised and her lips upturned. "What do you mean? Ace Hampton? How is that possible?" She inquired impatiently. "I don't know, I can't answer that question because I don't know what really happened. you see, I had an accident and I was in coma for a long time and when I wake up I can't remember any f****** things that happened in the past, I couldn't even remember my name,I couldn't even remember how old I was, I couldn't even remember who my parents were or even remember who I am." I snapped. I was angry. My bad luck. My destiny.

However, I stare into his eyes as I did four years ago. "Last night, you went to see a fight at the club. Something happened, and the fight got out of control. When you woke up, you were in the hospital. The doctors told you that you were lucky to be alive, but no one knows how you were injured. When you wake up, you'll have forgotten everything from last night. Partial amnesia, the doctors say. For now, sleep." I say, compelling him to forget once more.

I said to her, she stared at me in confusion, her eyebrows raised and her lips upturned. "What do you mean? Ace Hampton? How is that possible?" She inquired impatiently. He nodded for heavier effect in the end. After all of the conversation I had on my part, he won't listen to me? Really? It was pointless. I was hurt and angry, and I was in pain. This conversation wasn't going anywhere. There were so many things I wanted to say that I wanted to express. "When you were little—you had an accident that caused the four years of your memories to be lost due to amnesia. That's why you don't seem to remember me, Uzair, or any of us."

And just then, the car collides with the tree and I fall unto the steering wheel, hitting my head hard on it. I wake up sweating and panting. The first thing I do is go over to my drawer and grab the drugs, swallowing them and drinking the water I kept there. This is the second time I'm having this exact same dream. What does this mean? I know clearly that this is not a dream, I know it's my memory coming back but it's so confusing. Why do I have to suffer all of this. Why is my fate so cursed. Why do I get to have Amnesia, it's so unfair.

" He asked surprised and at the same time, amused. "What a second? What the hell?" She screamed when she remembered where she was and who she was with. Her morning is always like this, she has got issues with her morning, her five minutes every morning was like this because she does get to remember anything except the five minutes collapsed. She sat on the bed and looked at Luke resignedly. "I forgot about this, pardon me. I have morning Amnesia. My five minutes every morning are like this. In case I display this act tomorrow, just know I will be fine after five minutes."

Sarah interrupted, her voice trembling with bad premonition. "There is a very high possibility that Mr. Ashton Knight will wake up with amnesia," Doctor Khalid explained. His voice sounded cold to Avery’s ears, as if the word "amnesia" was another death sentence. "His short-term or long-term memory could be erased. In severe cases, he may not recognize the people around him when he regains consciousness." Those words fell like a bomb in the middle of the room. Avery’s entire world seemed to spin. Not recognizing the people around him? Her mind immediately drifted to their memories, to their wedding promise, and to the baby now growing inside her womb.

“I’m glad I brought you to Sullivan. I told you he’s the best in town.” I turned my attention back to the doctor. “How long do you think I’ll have to endure being an amnesiac? I’m sorry if I sound so eager, but it’s really exhausting being one.” I held my head in my hands, releasing a slight groan. “I have to research extensively on people I’m supposed to meet so I don’t fumble. I don’t remember anybody, not even my parents. I also have a feeling that my accident wasn’t an accident after all. I have done some investigation, and something is fishy about it all. I want to remember so I can place the missing pieces together. “
