It’s paradise, but in a strangely unnerving way. Fallon grabs the hand of a man with dark hair and sun-tanned skin. They’re fighting–passionately, and he pulls her into a grand, almost Gothic estate, slamming the door behind them. The vision pans out like I’m airborne, giving me a glimpse of a wide swath of islands and coves–and then, a heavy, crushing sensation embraces me–squeezing the life out of me. “Wake up! The forest is haunted, and the spirits that are lurking in this evil forest only come out in the night time. And I am glad we listened, because that wasn’t the only illusion we met along the way. Soon, the valley turned into a maze of shifting lies—trees that weren’t trees, rivers that vanished the moment you stepped close, shadows that whispered your name. It became nearly impossible to tell what was real and what was a trap. The deeper we went, the more the land twisted around us, like it was alive. Like it was watching. But Elisha made it bearable. The burst of colors were a refreshing sight. Sometimes I wondered how God was able to so creatively craft out such beautiful hues that defined the very essence of our worlds. I let my mind picture how creation began and how things took form.
