Imprinting Wolves Novels & Stories

I step forward and hug him. Arms wrapping around his thick neck, fingers burying in black fur, face pressed into warmth that smells like pine and night. For a second he goes utterly still. Then his wolf releases a low sound, soft, rumbling. Approval. My throat tightens so hard it hurts. I swallow hard, still holding on, and my wolf inside me presses against my ribs like she agrees, like she’s imprinting the moment as proof. Then a distant laugh echoes through the trees, loud, far off, probably Nate, carrying through the forest like an intrusion.

He whispered to me. Beta Leo walked in. He closed and locked the door. "Shall we begin?" Alpha Zev and Luna Maisie directed everyone to form a loose circle around me. Beta Leo opened a massive book and began reading. "From time immemorial, our people have welcomed our new wolves with a ceremony to recognize our pack connection and strength. The Moon Goddess gifts us our wolves. We are stronger, faster and smarter when we work with our wolves. We honor the Goddess by accepting our wolves and allowing them to take our physical form and make it their own. We each must learn to respect our wolves, and our wolves must learn to respect us."

Her vision sharpened as did all her senses and instead of her beautiful purple Jimmy Choo heels she had four rich, deep red furry paws, the shock made her collapse, her new legs giving way, and she let out a whine of protest. ‘Take your time little mate, let your body get used to the shift. I take it this is your first time?’ She looked up into the gentle blue eyes of a huge snow-white wolf, ’What? How?’ Her confusion was obvious as she tried to scramble back into a standing position and his Pack gasped at the mythical beautiful red wolf standing on trembling legs in front of them.

she read, "werewolves have been described throughout different parts of the world for centuries. In the last century, several werewolf sightings have been recorded. The werewolf legend has spread across borders, even across seas and oceans. The shapeshifter wolf has the ability to change form at any time. Aggressive energy or anger may increase the likelihood of causing an unintentional transformation, so such shifters are cautioned to practice extreme discipline and self-control. Black and white werewolves, particularly, are also able to maintain the same ability to think consciously and reasonably as a regular human being, no matter what form they take physically." Jamie read the paragraph

Though most wolves shifted for the first time around sixteen, the discovery of mates was happening towards the end of high school and most people were grateful that the Moon Goddess had seen it fit to delay the hormonal overwhelm until after high school. The guardian’s council had then proposed that the process of marking and mating be further held off until a couple was past their teens, to give them a chance to mature and go away for school if they wanted to. There were ways to mark a mate without fully imprinting and they thought that it ensured better rounded development of the citizens of the kingdom. It had been working and Keion thought it was a smart measure to respectfully monitor t

They were given the title of Legacy Wolves, keeping up their tradition and passing on their special traits through their children. Yet, as centuries passed by, due to their power the group was viewed as a broodmare, only there to keep a line pure and blessed. Due to this, the endangered group of wolves was forced to hide, away from natural werewolf society. Some had eventually forgotten the trait within them, living their life as normal human beings.

Randall had imprinted on mom back when she was still deeply in love with him. Unlike the wolves, vampires could freely imprint on anyone but imprinting on wolves would only happen with their permission. And after Blade had successfully removed his mark and his mate bond with mom, she readily allowed Randall to imprint on her. Randall had dumped her after he was done with her but he linked with her many years later to use her again. He inquired about our plans and mom was not able to lie to cover for us. That was the power of imprint for wolves which had affected only her. Since Randall was a different kind, he could still mess around.

Her wolf suddenly stops, her snout is pushed to the woodland floor, and she begins to sniff. Why the hell are you doing that? Lana inquires, to which she receives a snarl. Lovely. Even her wolf is unwilling to interact with her. Her wolf growls and moves steadily forward, growling, "There's someone else here. "Her wolf eagerly follows the scent, padding discreetly and gently, narrowing her eyes at something in the distance, and maintaining her slow gait.

she says, then her eyes widens. "The what?" I ask, leaning forward. "Uh, imprint" she gives me a fake smile. "No one has said anything about an imprint?" "The reason we're so close so fast, is probably from me imprinting on you. It wasn't on purpose. My wolf did it, because she called to you. It's hard to explain" she chews her lip. "It's like a platonic mate" "I kind of like that" i admit, "I'll let it slide"

I added the false for him, maybe he had forgotten to add it himself. The man shook his head. “No, actual imprinting.” A cold shut down my spine, like I had been thrown into a frozen lake. Gerard's hands faltered on my knees. “How is that possible? I never marked him.” The doctors nodded, gesticulating. “It’s not as impossible as you think,” he said, “marking isn’t the only trigger. Sustained proximity. Repeated pheromone exposure. Sexual contact. False imprinting happens when you are mated to another Omega or Alpha and sharing imprinting symptoms with another that hasn’t been mated.”
