" You best shut up young man" My father yelled " If you don't want me to cut off your hand " " Let me see you try then," Zion said and in seconds he freed himself. How he did that was beyond me. He break off the handcuffs around him and was free. In seconds, he grabbed a stake from the guard holding him and pierced his heart with it.

'Bravo, bravo' a voice echoed inside the cell accompanied by the sound of claps. The lights were turned on and that's when I realize I am not in a cell but in a cage that is central in an arena. It wasn't so big but like the ones that use for small occasions. Few people were standing around the cage. 'Bravo my darling," says a man who is about 6 Ft. tall with dark brown hair and a scar on his right cheek. He move closer to the cage and sat on his haunches. I move away from him and sit in the middle.

"Get inside and sleep," This was getting too easy. Knowing the young master, he wasn't one to let an issue slide easily. She glanced with cautious looks as she walked closer to the cage. It was unlocked, so she entered. "Lock it," He requested, and she jammed the padlock on the cage. He turned around and walked to his bed. He didn't even take off his bloody coat and slid into his bed. Ivanna couldn't tell if he had a scheme inside his head. But soon enough, the cage began to shrink. It wasn't big to begin with, but its shrinking would smash her. It was built with heavy metals.

“What got out?” “The thing. We worked on.” The man turned to look at her as he answered, his hand rubbing his neck. He then went to the cage. “I’m sorry sir, I thought I had the cage secured, but it wasn’t. It must have paid attention to me and memorized the codes. It then tricked me by going invisible.”

The rest of the time she would stare at nothing in silence. A few cages back, though, was another who was struggling more. A tall man, human, so he must be some sort of practitioner for them to care to take him. He had skin midnight coloured, and the tiny cage, that was a little tight for the girl, put him in a permanently contorted position, unable to sit up or lay back properly.

"What's the Cage?" "Supernatural prison. Official name's something else but everyone calls it the Cage. It's in North London, underground. Run by vampires." The older wolf's voice is matter-of-fact, like he's discussing the weather. "I've been there. Did eight months three years ago. Nearly killed me." "What's it like?" "Hell. Actual hell." The older wolf sits across from me. "The cells are lined with silver. Bars, walls, floors. Everywhere you touch burns. You can't shift. Can't access your full strength. You're just stuck there in constant pain."

He couldn't let her see the cage he was in. After the call, the silence of the penthouse felt heavier. He explored his room, finding the windows sealed shut. The door had no lock on his side. He was truly a prisoner in a gilded cage. Exhaustion finally overwhelmed him, and he fell into a fitful sleep on the impossibly soft bed, his dreams haunted by gray eyes and the sound of rain.

Tom’s POV When I woke up, I found out that I was locked up in a cage … yes, you read that right. I was locked up in a bloody metal cage, like some feral wild animal, with no idea of what on earth I had done to deserve such ill-treatment. The cage barely contained me, having barely enough room for me to stand and walk about ten paces. It had very tiny holes that could barely fit a finger, and I assumed that the holes were to let air in.

He honestly thought that my body, my feelings, and my entire existence completely belonged to him and were fully under his absolute control and ownership. I was deep in my thoughts when suddenly the heavy door was pushed open violently and roughly hitting the wall loudly, announcing his arrival and his furious mood clearly and unmistakably. I didn't turn around or stand up immediately. I remained seated calmly and quietly, looking at his reflection clearly visible right behind me inside the large mirror. Lucas stood near the doorway breathing heavily and roughly, his chest rising and falling fast and heavily, his handsome face twisted darkly and dangerously with absolute rage and hostility.

The world comes back to Sage slowly; it's almost like a cruel joke being played on him. His eyes feel heavy, his body weak, and his breath shaky. His first clear thought is pain, and it's sharper around his wrists, stiff in his neck, and throbbing at the back of his head like someone has hit him hard, and when he tries to move, cold metal clinks and cold bars dig into his side. Sage is in a moving cage. A real cage, with wheels underneath, and wolves dragging the chains on it like they are delivering a wild animal. His wrists and legs are tied; he can't sit up without hitting the low roof of the cage. Fuck. His heart slams in his chest, his throat raw and patched.
