In Summer With Lyrics นิยาย & เรื่องราว

“Are you interested in some props for the Last Day of Summer Fest? We offer free juice and photos on the side.” “When is the day?" “Pardon?” Valentina looked over at her like she was staring at a grade two child. “When is the fest?” Colleen had no idea so she looked to Tobias for help and thankfully, he answered. “21st of this month. A few superstars like Johnny Crane, and Naomi Statham will be in attendance. I would recommend you get a summer hat for the occasion but unfortunately, we’re sold out. So, how about a tee shirt?”

I say as I take out a fresh outfit. "Yeah, sure. Next time we are going to the Hamptons, and please next time I drink don't let me make any plans. Otherwise, we might go hiking next time." I laugh as I put my hair in a ponytail. "Duly noted. So how are things with Anthony? Don't think I didn't notice the two of you intertwining fingers as we watched the movie." Summer blushed as she went to close the door and then leaned against it. "I know it hasn't been long but I really like him." She says with a big smile on her face. "I think about him all the time, his black hair and those big brown eyes, and those lushes lips. And the way he smells..."

Not ever. Summer sat by the window, staring out into the darkness. The cold breeze from the open window brushed against her skin, but the chill in the air was nothing compared to the unease gnawing at her chest. Hilda had just left for the night, and now she was alone, consumed by thoughts of what Jessica was planning. Her mind couldn't settle, turning over the conversation she'd overheard earlier. Jessica's words echoed in her mind—When the foxes leave tomorrow, Summer will go with them.

“See? I knew you had sass somewhere in there.” They packed light—phones, lip balm, house keys, and a bottle of red wine as their entry ticket. Christine grabbed her jacket while Ava slipped on her flats. As they stepped out into the evening air, Christine bumped her gently. “Tonight’s going to be good, Ava. You don’t have to dance. You don’t have to talk too much. Just... be.” Ava nodded, a little warmth blooming in her chest. Maybe she did need this. A soft night with old friends. Familiar faces. Laughter without pressure.

If we were alone, I’d cover her entire body with peanut butter, taking my time licking it off. I pumped it inside for a few seconds, careful to ensure Britney couldn’t see what we were doing. After she’d licked it clean, she rose onto her tiptoes, giving me a light kiss. “Ew,” Britney said from behind us. We both laughed and Summer stuck her head around my arm. “Eat your late lunch.” “I need milk.” “That’s right. I guess Julian doesn’t make your sammies like Mommy does.” Summer’s tone held a hint of giddiness. I pointed my finger at her.

Please, let him never break her heart like he broke mine. “Got a long list of ex-lovers… they’ll tell you I’m insane!” Summer sang along at the top of her lungs, and Helios grimaced. “Princess, those lyrics are a little old for you.” I rolled my eyes. Really? He’s arguing with a seven-year-old about pop songs. “She loves Taylor Swift,” I said flatly, since Summer had already tuned him out. We pulled up to school just as Summer spotted a boy with messy black hair waiting by the gate. She practically leaped out of the car the second we stopped.

“Summer, you’re not dirty. You’re the purest, most beautiful woman in the world.” Laughter broke out again on the other end. Then, someone asked, “Why did you marry Summer in the first place? Seven years is a long time. There’s got to be some love there, right?” The room gradually fell quiet. It seemed everyone was waiting for John’s answer. In that silence, all I could hear was the pounding of my heartbeat.

“Summer?” Summer closed her eyes briefly, her resolve hardening. She guessed the drug’s effect would kick in soon. With a swift movement, she let her silk robe slide off, revealing a low-cut camisole that clung to her curvy figure. She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Ben, her voice low and sultry. “Ben, I know you’re uncomfortable. Let me help you.” Ben’s expression turned icy as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her away forcefully. “What are you trying to do, Summer?”

Ronan was at a karaoke bar named Nocturne, singing a love song to her. Their friends flooded the comments. "Just get together already!" "Forget women. Bros are better. Say you’ll be my new sister-in-law!" "Totally! Brynn’s way better than his wife. At least she doesn’t kill the mood by doing something stupid like throwing cake." She replied with a smirking emoji: "You idiots, stop talking nonsense. Ronan is only fit to be my obedient son for life, got it?" My hands trembled as I exited the group.

I took a couple of pictures of us, dance with Kal on my arms as I planted a kiss on his forehead. We headed home and I went inside my room to change and took a long bath. That night my parents went in my room when I was about to sleep. We talk about the deal and that I should prepare for Mr. Cold-foot, I mean Mr. Cole Ford will be coming any day this week. I sighed as they took their leave. I guess my freedom ends as summer starts. Summer, it’s like my favorite of all the seasons but at the same time I hate it.... •••
