PROFESSOR'S PET (M×M)
Air left my lungs in a rush, legs almost buckled, but I locked my knees and kept dragging.
The chopper roared overhead, searchlight blinding, ropes slapping the dirt.
“Last two, go go go!” Reaper’s voice cracked over the comms.
Hands reached down, frantic. I threw the final diamond case up first, then shoved Ghost toward the rope. He grabbed it with bloody fingers, started climbing even as another round clipped his leg. I hooked my arm through the loop, wrapped it twice around my wrist, and they hauled us both into the air while the door gunner laid down a storm of lead that turned the courtyard into a slaughterhouse.
