He opens his eyes wide and tells me, “No one had thought about that. I will call him now.” I smiled at him, and I watched as he got up and walked towards the office, looking for his cell phone. I sit on the couch, unable to articulate a single sentence. Mia tells me, “For the love of the goddesses, Emma. Would you mind silencing your brain? I can’t understand anything you’re thinking!” “I’m sorry, Mia. It’s the anxiety.” I watch as Mia sits down, frowns, and says to me, annoyed, “And since when have we suffered from anxiety?”

I need to relax, but all I feel is fear and anxiety, both from my wounds and the situation I'm in. 'Ava, you need to do this," I remind myself. This is a new life, a second chance. Anxiety was consuming me up every second that ticked. It was the third day and towards the lunch hour. The same day when Carina was signing her new novel with her fans. I could feel fear deep down my heart.

Then I glanced up at Jaxx, whose profile appeared carved from a block of dark marble, beautiful and terrifying in its absolute stillness. The silence in the room grew so thick you could have choked on it. My employees stood frozen like statues, some holding their breath until their faces flushed, others pretending to be absorbed in silent keyboards while their eyes remained glued to the explosion happening in the center of the room. I could feel their collective anxiety pressing against my skin like a physical weight. "Jaxx..." The whisper escaped my lips, my voice sounding like it belonged to someone else entirely… someone smaller, more fragile. My head spun as a dozen impossible scenarios

Emotion unexpectedly burns in my throat. Because that sentence feels way too personal. “I won’t,” I say softly. Professor Daniels nods once before walking away. And somehow I feel worse afterward. By the time I leave the building my anxiety is eating me alive. I immediately pull my phone out. Then stop. Because my first instinct is texting Cole. And somehow that realization scares me too. I shove the phone back into my bag. No. I need to get myself together. I head toward the coffee shop instead trying to mentally organize my life again.

Restraining him and for a moment I’m thankful Mico is as big and strong as his crazy cousin. I act like I can’t see him and focus back on the room. Inwardly shaking, nerves dying because I know I have crossed a line you cannot come back from. All that old fear and uncertainty about his character back in full swing. Phoenix huffed and Axion raised a brow at her. " I'm not scared of anything " She bragged making him scoff. Phoenix's inner self landed a slap across her cheeks. " What are you doing? Are you out of your fucking mind?! " It yelled at her but Phoenix ignored it. She has to watch it if she wants to get closer to Axion. Focusing her gaze on the television, she gulped down hard. " You can do this, Phoenix " She gingered herself. She wasn't even up to a minute into the movie, when she started shivering in fear, sweats rolling down her face like water. She unknowingly fidgeted on her finger, cutting them loudly with her teeth.

Lowering my voice to a near whisper, I exhaled slowly, "Adam, stay calm. I'll be right back, okay?" The urgency in my heart rate quickened as I reluctantly peeled myself from the chair, my eyes fixed on those eerily vacant ones outside the window, devoid of any human emotion. I felt the pulse of anxiety buzz at the edges of my thoughts; the remains of yesterday's horrors hovered around me like a thick fog, blurring the line between reality and some bizarre dreamscape.

"Hi, love," I say the second he leaves the truck Silo's driving. He looks gorgeous, even wearing sweatpants and a huge hoodie, with very messy hair and tired eyes, "Did you have a long flight?" "It sucked," he responds, walking closer to me, "I couldn't stop thinking about you and whatever future you saw. You know I'm diagnosed with anxiety, you can't just not say shit to me. I'll spiral. I already spiraled twelve hours. And now I'm exhausted."

His other friends told him to listen but Jack didn't take his warning seriously and moved toward his target. The line between sanity and insanity gets broken. Using his entire strength and will power, he kicked the door with full force breaking it apart and it led him inside. The moment Austin’s eyes fell on the girl, he felt as if someone stabbed his heart. Her miserable condition tore something deep inside him. A dangerous kind of monster evoke inside him as soon as he saw four men including Jack trying to force her while she was lying lifelessly.
