I stepped into the dim corridor, my heels quiet, heart cold. Showtime.

RUE I do not remember leaving the hallway. I do not remember pushing past the nurses’ station or the elevator or the woman holding a crying child. All I remember is the cold. Cold tiles under my shoes. Cold air on my face. Cold thoughts crawling up my spine. The feeling of wanting to drown in ice. Just falling deeper into the water, until I feel nothing.

I got into the lobby only to be welcomed by very cold water thrown all over me. “What the hell!”

And it is really late. Sky is cold.

"Bellis..." Something cold crashed through me.

I felt the warmth of a lone tear escape my eye and leaving its trail all the way to my hairline as my eyes wavered and my eyelids closed when the last breath left my mouth.
