HOUR OF THE WOLF

HOUR OF THE WOLF

She understood this, but she wasn't sure how to stop it. Minnow pushed all these anxieties down and set herself on autopilot. Her beloved matching grey tracksuit hung on the desk chair, and she eagerly put on the soft, stretchy material before crawling into the downy bed. She was asleep before her head hit the pillow, drowning out the ongoing party downstairs. Her sleep was dreamless until she entered the wolf's hour, inviting her deepest fears back into her mind—the hour between night and dawn when most people die, sleep is the most profound, and nightmares are the most real.

The Darkest Hour

The Darkest Hour

"Let's go." A black SUV was waiting outside for them. Kenzie sat beside Royce in the back seat, while Hans took the seat next to the driver. The day had passed so quickly that Kenzie was shocked to see that night had fallen. It was nearly ten, the time when clubs and bars would be thriving throughout the city. She didn't see the street where they were when the car finally stopped. A crowd of people stood in the line by the front door. "Did we get a confirmation from Dimitri that we can get in?" Hans asked Royce.

Slave to the Wolf King

Slave to the Wolf King

And darkness—darkness that loomed on the horizon, threatening to engulf me. And the darkness was Cazz—his deepest soul. I reached for him again and again, pleading, screaming, begging for him to stop, to return to me, to refuse this—then, as if I’d stood on the edge of a cliff and the earth had suddenly given way under my feet, I found myself tumbling into that pit, that dark, whistling chasm inside him. Flailing, screaming, rocked with pain…

I love this book so much! It’s so beautifully & powerfully written! I love the profound depth of the characters and how they transform. It is also incredibly hot! There are so many chapters, but every chapter is integral to the storyline and the growth of the characters!

honestly one of the best stories on this site. i don’t understand how it’s not at the top of the lists. it’s original, descriptive, the characters are well fleshed out and multi-faceted. the love scenes aren’t cringe inducing teen fantasy garbage. i haven’t read her bother stories but will now

Red Stripes On The Silver Moon

Red Stripes On The Silver Moon

No sight of any way out or chance for surviving, and then I remembered my mom's last words to me. "At your darkest hour, when all seems lost and there is no hope of light. When you feel the darkness pressing in on you from every side, when you find yourself standing on the precipice of oblivion, A Hero will descend from the Moon. His glittering silver face will cast a bright light upon your path. Avoid him, but it will be impossible. You will thrive hard to run... that's when the beast in you will Awake, and you'll meet the real you"

The Alpha's Witch

The Alpha's Witch

LUCAS You know that thing people say? What's it again? Yeah, I remember. They say something like, “the darkest hour is just before dawn”. Uhm . . . I'm not sure that applies to everyone's life. Sometimes it's just dark and it gets darker and there's never any promise of seeing light. just seems to never come. That's pretty much how I felt at the moment. I had searched for this Lunarry spell and no one knew what it was, or if it even exists anymore. What does that mean for me? Should I give up already?

Dream door

Dream door

The peaceful eerie silence is spread in the whole surrounding. Darkness hide the rays of light within. How much bright you are but the darkness cover you one day , engulf you whole, snatch the soul full of hope and just like a peaceful night you sleep for forever. A loud radio is ON in the silent building telling horror tales . The girls shiver down but a taste of death seems exciting unless you met with it. The road is complete empty no single soul is outside as it is 3am in the morning. . The cursed hour . It's a saying devil have their power at it's peak in this hour. Unaware of this three girls are sleeping in a room snoring lightly.

The Night Known As You

" We notch our bows and wait for the morrow Cold is the night and nary a tear for on the morn we head into shadow There is no room for our fear His eyes are cruel, his evil is endless Black is soul and ne'ver he'll rest till all the world lies covered in darkness and none who'd fight him are left. Reborn to Defy Fate

Reborn to Defy Fate

It was for me alone. > “We are coming for you… child of the divided dawn.” A shiver wracked my entire body. > “We will not allow the bringer of light to survive.” My heart slammed hard enough to hurt. > “One light cannot hold all darkness.” And then the whisper turned cold. Hungry. > “We will claim what is ours.” The last trace of darkness retreated into the earth, disappearing like ink sinking into water. Silence fell again. Except this time, it was the wrong kind of silence.
