He showed me how much I was worth without magic, then quickly took it away from me. I was depressed when I looked at the water. Nobody gave a damn about me. How could I be so insignificant? I took a step toward the edge of the cliff. I paused, looking back at the town. I watched the water crash against the jagged rocks before launching myself over the edge and into the water. I took a deep breath as I began to sink to the lake's bottom due to the cold water. I felt at ease as the darkness engulfed me... "Breathe damn it," said a voice as I spit up some lake water. I found myself looking up into green eyes. He was drenched almost as much as I was. "You went into the water."
