The place where all our happy memories were buried into the mud with the ashes of the house that was interchanged with my mother's and set on fire only to potray me as dead. The woods are our border to the feared Blood-moon pack. Today, the fear looking at the woods is there too, but it’s different. It’s as if that place is my downfall and rescue at the same time. There’s a deep fear and an indescribable pull towards it at the same time. My heartbeat speeds up at the thought of entering those woods. Just thinking about the Blood-moon pack seems to weirdly draw me even more to the woods. Goosebumps erupt all over my body, and I snuggle a little deeper into the blanket without shifting my gaze from the woods.
