In the past, Zane had been blind—she had memorized his features but never experienced him seeing her. Today, their eyes had met. But she reminded herself—it had been nothing. Blue static filled the air, then cleared into a video feed. I froze when I saw who was in the screen. It was Arya. She was tied to a chair, ropes biting into her arms, her face pale and streaked with dirt. She twisted, fighting against the bindings, her eyes wild. “Holy shit,” I breathed. The screen shifted. Arrya said as she didn't understand her environment. Damien walked to her back as he bend his head to her ears.. "Shhhhh." he said as he slowly loose the blindfold.
