Once Ignored, Now Claimed
For the first time in what felt like forever, I could finally exhale.
Cora and I settled into a quiet corner at the bar, our glasses filled with freshly made cocktails.
I told her about the Primal Bond. She listened, then said quietly, "If you want to break it, you can't walk away from what's happening with Adrian."
I frowned. "Why not?"
"I went through the entire archive last night," Cora said, taking a sip of her drink. "Breaking a Primal Bond isn't simple. If Adrian dies before it's completed, the pain will hit your brain like something being severed all at once."
