Jackson advised, lowering his voice. "This bitch is going to sleep with Raleigh! You want me to just sit back and watch?" Justin couldn't contain his anger. Jackson's expression turned cold upon hearing this. “You have the nerve to judge Stella? Aren't you behaving even worse than her?!" Jackson couldn't bear to watch any longer, frowning deeply.

He said it loudly enough for everyone to hear this time: “I’m Jason Stiles. Griffin Walker sent me to be your escort for the evening.” For a second, the whole hall went silent. Jason Stiles. The name hit the room like an explosion. People gasped. Some even murmured, “Jason Stiles?” the same way people react when they see someone they’ve only read about in magazines. The heir to the Stiles Group. The businessman who’d been abroad for years. The same Jason who used to be Griffin’s best friend before he left the country. My stomach dropped. “Did she just say Jason Stiles?” someone behind me whispered. “Isn’t that Griffin’s closest friend?”

What a contrasting image both the sisters have one is so outspoken and the other a little shy. After ending the call Stella told me that Steffanie was coming down to stay with her for a few days as Jackson Harris her husband had gone for a conference in New York and won't be back for a week. Jackson was my college buddy and I have known him for a long time. He was very good with his work and everyone had great respect for him in the Bureau and I was proud of him. Steffanie loved him a lot but I was not sure about Jackson, but along these years I saw that he did care about her and cherished her. I was happy for Steffanie, as Jackson was not so outspoken and never knew how to express himself.

"Have you found out anything about this Jackson Wright?" Steele looked up from his computer at the sound of Tyler's voice. He rolled his head around on his neck to loosen up some of the tight muscles there. "A little." "Do share." Tyler had a seat next to him and turned to face the other man, giving him his full attention. Turning his laptop so that Tyler could see it, Steele took the sucker he absent-mindedly sucked on out of his mouth and set it on the wrapper beside him. "He's Jessica's ex-boyfriend."

“Riley, I couldn’t care less if we have an audience.” Riley shot me a look, his hazel eyes sharp. “Well, I care. And I don’t think it’s appropriate.” I leaned back slightly, a smirk tugging at the corner of my lips. “Do you forget who I am? I’m Jaxon Steele. I don’t need anyone’s approval. I do whatever I want, whenever I want. And I certainly don’t care about what other people think.” Riley sighed, his shoulders slumping just a little. “It’s not about approval, Jaxon. It’s about... decency.”

Stella barks and runs to her owner as Gran and Hayley turn to see me approaching them. “Xander! What are you doing home so early?” asks Hayley shyly. I walk up to her and kiss her on the cheek just to see her blush before kissing a very happy looking gran. “I missed my favourite girls….Zola and Stella….so I had to come home early", I joke.

I run into the cold stairs; it's beginning to drizzle, and my breath is ragged, my vision is blurry, and I can hardly maintain balance. And then— I bump into someone. The impact knocks the breath from my lungs. My hands grasp at the person’s shirt, steadying myself. I look up. And there he is. My saviour. Jackson. He is standing tall, dressed in all black, his deep brown eyes staring down at me in bewilderment. A slow, wicked smile spreads across his lips. “Hi, Lexi,” he says. I freeze instantly. Game over.

Jackson did not feel uncomfortable about it either. ... When the people who had hidden around the neighborhood saw them leaving, the leader of the group of men took his phone out and made a call. “They have left. It seems like they’re leaving South Park. A man came and picked her up. There was another woman with her. Do we do it now?” At the other end of the phone, Don’s voice sounded. “Who’s that man and woman?” The leader replied, “The man is Jackson, and he’s Tiffany’s fiancé. The woman is… one of the Tremonts.”

Was it his kindness, or was it the Alpha's glare shooting daggers in my direction behind the man? "You're welcome." He smiled. "Harrison Cage. That's my name. What's yours?" "Scarlett." I added. "Scarlett De Luca." "Cage." Alpha Jax's voice seemed ominous for a second as Harrison's eyes went back and forth between us. "Pardon me." He replied. "I'll see you some other time, Scarlett." He said as he went back to the Alpha's side. As they exited, Alpha Jax turned back with eyes full of fire, enough for me to burn to the ground.

I need to find a way to change that, and fast. "Guys, they both went to the Alpha Academy. I'm sure they know what they're doing," a new voice speaks up. I turn my attention to Malcom, who’s shirtless and wearing blue basketball shorts. He’s certainly fine as hell, yet this time, there isn't even a spark when I look at him. Jaxon must have gotten into my head because I literally don't feel desire for anyone but him. "Pfft, I bet that was nothing. Melanie probably only passed because she's Alpha Damon's daughter, and Jaxon because they feel sorry for his pathetic daddy," taunts a tall, wiry guy with mahogany skin and short, black twists in his head.
