Dominic nodded at first, then suddenly realized Chris had answered almost without thinking. “You remember that pretty clearly.” He knew Chris had a good memory, but this was different. Chris seemed unusually clear on the date December 20. “Jacob Jasper died on December 19.” Dominic himself couldn’t even remember what day Jacob had died. Chris did. Dominic gave him a long, meaningful look, then poured him another cup of tea. “I haven’t asked you about this before,” he said, sounding casual, almost like they were just chatting. “Back then, I wasn’t sure what was going through your head. But now I’m curious.”

Alpha Kyle's POV I paced around the room feeling rather uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep last night as my wolf didn't let me sleep. He had been disturbing me to look for our mate. Rejecting my mate wasn't a good decision as I didn't feel my body again. The pain was more than I had imagined. Even though I had tried to suppress it, I felt I couldn't continue to suppress it.

Jacob looks around him with a smile on his face as the chopper flies by. The sight of New York at night has always had a calming effect on Jacob. Jacob’s body trembled for a while, and he stammered, “I... I was still in deep thoughts when I heard a male voice. "Hello , I am Jake" he said stretching forth his hand for a handshake. I realised he is the stranger I was admiring earlier. I noticed he was even more handsome than what I saw earlier, he was about 6 feet tall, well built and his six packs stuck out from his shirt. I also discovered he had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, short spiky hair which made him look more handsome and his voice sounded like that of an Angel. Well, I haven't seen any Angel in reality but I have seen them in movies.

Ernest’s virtual face sank, and he responded “I would love to sir, however permission must be granted from sir Elijah to do so.” Lucas didn’t respond but instead started off towards Elijah’s office. Becca smirked and shook her head, helping Kendra copy her notes. "Just that you're so grumpy." Becca said and everyone held back their laughs. "I am not. Its just," Demitri rubbed his face, his eyes especially,"morning ya know." Demitri bluffed and closed his binder. "Cheer up, we're gonna study together later and I don't want you to act like an ass." Becca said. "yeah, sure. We'll see." Demitri said. The rest of the class was uneventful. Just more notes and more homework pages. The other classes were all the same. For other students, this day may have seemed tedious or even frustrating. For Demitri and Becca, this was a typical good day of productive learning.

My nose stung, and more tears slid down my face as sadness overcame me. I replied softly, "I want to go home. There is no famiglia for me here."
