She figured that he must have wanted Tristian Reyes’s contact. Without wasting any time, Jacob typed the numbers into his phone and called Tristian. The phone rang four times before he heard a click. “Tristian Reyes speaking. How can I help you?” Tristian’s voice carried an aura like no other, and even a man like Jacob couldn’t help but tremble slightly. Jacob cleared his throat, adjusted his tie and spoke. “This is Jacob Wades from the Wades family.” He said, hoping to get some recognition with his family name.

That little brat was overstepping her boundaries, and I was going to put her back in her place. I glared at her furiously, and she began to spill. “Jacob is from the carpentry store, and he is here to fix the door of my room if you must know." I suddenly stared at Jacob, and he stared back at me with calmness and gentleness in his eyes. He was tall and muscular, and his physique stood out as he stood perfectly still with the large wooden board balanced on his shoulder. “Carpentry shop? Really? Then why haven't I seen him before?"

"You're going out with Daniel Zavaro? Captain of the Texas Mutiny? How did you not tell me this?" "I didn't even know what his job was until last night. How do you know him anyway? You don't follow soccer." She gives the paper back, spouting statistics and ticking them off with her fingers. "Daniel Zavaro, twenty-nine years old. Six-year veteran of the Texas Mutiny. Number four on last year's Top Twelve most eligible bachelor list as voted by the city of Houston, behind one baseball player and two football players. Single, loves his family, volunteers at a local children's soccer league and all around nice guy."

I take a deep breath in roder to not let my anger take over. “Sit.” When he continues to frown, I roll my eyes in frustration. “Sit down so I can treat you,” I elaborate as I vacate my seat. “Treat?” He parrots but thankfully complies and sits. “Yes. I am a white wolf who has healing powers. You know this already. That’s why there’s a big lump sum stuck on our metaphorical foreheads.” I snort, trying to make light of the statement. But Isaac apparently doesn’t find it funny. He pulls me down onto his lap and clamps his arm around my waist.

I reply, dry as dust. “The same reason Jacob didn’t take his role as lune tonight?” His face mirrors the anxiety I’ve been trying not to drown in. This conversation won’t be easy. I nod. “JoJo.” Jacob greets us at the door, already changed out of his formal wear. I hug him. “Hey, cuz. How’re you holding up?” He hugs me back, strong but sad. “Reaping the consequences of my rash decisions,” he says quietly. He hugs Esteban too.

I call back, but the wind has picked up and my voice gets lost in the squall. There’s a figure moving towards me, it’s Jacob. He looks about eight or nine years old. “Jocasta, where are you?” he shouts. I cry into the distance, “Jacob, I’m here. It’s no use, the only response he hears is the howling gust of the wind.

If anything happens to jack all his employees under him will be jobless. Although I did not know much about this dominant, confident man called Jack Mayor but i could bet my life on it that he is a good man.

I hate him for this. I finally look at him, “Of course you have her... Hope you are treating her better… Not sleeping around behind her back!” West’s jaw clenches. I prepare myself for another befitting comment out of his mouth. But he doesn’t as we hear Jacob coming downstairs. He enters with both hands full of eatables. I am glad he is back in the room. I was seconds away from either bashing his head with the controller in my hands or strangulating him with cables lying around.

Jacob hissed and shrugged his coat couple of times “Am in hurry…. Jacob and you… got in my way…” I hissed back “Where are you going?” Jacob questioned me with raised eyebrow “Ahh…. its personal….” I replied him “But, what’s the matter why are you here?” I further questioned him back “I have something to talk to you….” Jacob replied in serious tone I studied his face and he looked little serious, seeing which we both got back inside my cabin, I asked jenny to leave us alone as Jacob started telling me about his plan to get back his lost share in Knight.inc

“What the hell was that thing?” “I don’t know,” I admitted. “But it was powerful—and it knew Jacob.” Jake’s expression was dark, his jaw tight. “Then we have to move fast. Whatever Jacob is planning, we need to stop it before it’s too late.” I met his gaze, determination flaring in my chest despite the fear still lingering in the pit of my stomach. “We will.”
