He pulls a small pocket knife from his pants and jumps on the nearest Shifter. Jake throws his dagger at Yi, who flickers in and out of human vision, and immediately long, glistening talons protrude from his fingers. Although I don't have enough time to really watch him fight, it's amazing to watch him slice through the trees and nearly tear them in half. I've never seen him fight before, nor have most others.

Mace screamed with pain. As Alpha Zayne and Jake continued their deadly and bloody battle. They were consumed in their action of fighting until Jake paused. "Mace no!" Jake said with concern. "Perfect moment!" Zayne uttered with a menacing smile. Zayne unsheathed his claws and slashed Jake on his arm as crimson liquid sprayed everywhere. "Ahhhh! Zayne you're nothing but a loser." Jake uttered as he fell. 'I noticed Abbie and Mace's situation as it made me lose focus, thereby he hit me hard with a slash attack.' Jake said internally.

And I look forward to killing her former punkass betrothed.” I smirk. “Blades or bullets?” “Blades,” he replies without missing a beat. “He’ll suffer.” The promise isn’t just in his words, but his eyes, too. Kev likes to kill. He lives to spill the blood of others. It’s why he’s so good at what he does. I nod. “Good.” I’ll be claiming a front row seat for that event. Watching Kev kill never gets old. “You can’t take him out yet,” Jake reminds him, a note of authority in his voice.

With determination, he knocked firmly on the bedroom door. Although Jake and Blake looked very much alike, he often found himself wishing they didn’t. They shared the same strong features and athletic build. But there were enough differences to set them apart—Blake had dark hair while Jake sported platinum blonde, and one twin had a distinct dimple in his jawline. Jake kept his hair blonde because he didn’t want anyone to confuse him with Blake or mistakenly take a bullet for him. Blake was his brother, but he didn’t care about boundaries; he flirted with married women all the time.

The air was crisp with the promise of dawn as Jake tightened his leather armor, preparing for the hunt. Jake must’ve told him about what happened. “Jake is playing, I heard he’s out of shape.” “Carlo said he couldn’t even throw a ball properly.” Those were just some of the whispers I heard from the audience, and I needed to support the boy I love. I took off my hoodie, catching Jake’s attention. I was wearing his #14 jerseys under my jacket and I raised a cloth banner I designed saying ‘Conquer ‘em West’. Cheers erupted from my team. Screams and cheers of ‘West the Conqueror’ brought the field to life. The remaining Timberwolves supporter followed, and I swear I saw Jake wiped his cheek before putting his gear on.

Jeremy began but got cut off by Jake T, a seven-foot tall alpha; “Dude, your mind ain’t here.” Jake T growled. “Hell, even my mind ain’t here and he ain’t my fucking mate. Tell us what we wanna hear so we can all get the fuck outta here. I can’t believe you actually rebelled when the Lady gave you that.” He jabbed his forefinger in Ryan’s direction.

His sandy blonde hair was caught by the wind making it fall over his blue eyes. He quickly removed it with his hand before he said:
