I couldn’t help but smile at the fascination that sparked in his eyes. “What on bloody earth is that?” he asked. “A magic mirror,” I teased before explaining to him the best way I could what exactly a television set was. I asked if he wanted to watch a movie, recalling the extensive DVD collection we’d found earlier that night. I asked him to pick a movie and he returned with two interesting picks: Chicago and the Godfather. It was almost a reflection of the kind of person that he was – a musician and a killer whose loyalty to family stood above all else – either way, tormented, with darkness constantly looming over him.

He heard Jake exhale as if trying to stop himself from laughing. "This is so hideous," Jake finally laughed. "Shut it." Jake wiped the tears from his eyes as he flipped the paper and drew something on the back. He looked so serious that Tales wondered what it was. When he finished, he handed it over to Tales. "What is this?" Tales was surprised as he looked at the well-drawn map of the entire compound. He looked at Jake seriously. "Just who are you? How did you know this?" Even Tales had a hard time surveying the compound, yet some of the information on this map wasn’t within his knowledge.

All you do all day is stay home and paint! Is he lying to give a good impression? Ryder narrowed his eyes at Jake. Sly fox! "What job?" Henry asked. Calmly, Jake picked up his fork and knife and looked at Henry, secretly feeling quite confident. Yet he didn't dare to look at Ryder when he answered. "I own a few galleries in a couple of towns and work as a writer too. I have published a few books so far and I'm recently working on a new one." As he said this, the expressions on Michelle and Henry got better, but Ryder kept staring at Jake like she was seeing him for the first time. This is Jake, right? My Jake? When.... How... Why don't I know anything about this!!!

" Jace pointed at the file that was laying next to Luke Luke's gaze followed where Jace was pointing at. It is the file on Joshua, on his dealings and whereabouts. Luke nodded in agreement and picked up the file so that they could go through it in detail Moments later, they made their plans and they were lucky to find Maddox after a day of search. He was about to leave the country when they tracked him down. Jace offered an extra 2 million to the 10 million he has given him already. Maddox, being the greedy person he is, accepted the offer. All he needed to do was to get a confession out of Joshua

Maddox pov " Alpha Jake is ready to see you ,"The short woman with spiky pink hair speaks as she opens the office door. We spent hours and hours trying to figure out where my mate could have been taken to . The abandoned cabin was in alpha Jake's pack . Which was a neighbouring territory. Even though the place was completely abandoned .

She's the story writer". Then he cocked an eyebrow " How is she, by the way?" " She's good, as expected" Jack said, offhandedly

“Hey, just kidding. No one dares step foot in the Maddox house without bleeding for it.” Maddox. I mouthed it under my breath. Then filed it away, pretended like it wasn't the first time I'd heard it. Curious to know more about them, I stepped forwards and sat on the sofa opposite him. "What's your relationship with them like? Are you another brother, with an 'A' in your name?" He laughed. A full blown laughter. "Friends turned brothers. So, yeah, you can say that." I nodded. Accessing him again. Deny it all you want Zayla, he's dead handsome.

Jake Jake had spent a month at his cabin in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland, fixing it up, and trying to push his anger and humiliation away. He’d left a message for Bandit that he was out of town, and switched his phone off. He didn’t want to talk to anyone. He’d said the same thing to Dominic and Hudson had sent him a text, offering to take him to some happy ending club. He’d laughed and politely declined Hudson’s invitation. He’d already heard the stories from Ethan about Hudson’s antics at sex clubs.

It's not that Maddox wanted to draw a wedge between Drake and Talia. Maddox was trying to understand what possessed his friend of many years. Drake and Maddox are collaborating as Alphas of their respective packs, and they are also close on a personal level. Considering their Alpha nature to dominate, they aren't buddy-buddies in a normal sense because they clash often, but they flipped many skirts together and Maddox can confirm that Drake is the most promiscuous Alpha of their generation. Drake never tried to twist that fact or to change, so this was odd.
