Did he suddenly see the light inside the bathroom or maybe the ghost of Christmas future approached him?

“And…?” “Jameson,” he said, in a measured tone. “Pleasure.” He offered his hand—a courtesy. Adrian shook it, short, uncertain. Vivienne stepped forward, sweet smile faltering. “Nora, you look… stunning.” “Thank you,” Nora replied, smile polite. She watched Vivienne’s heartbeat-flutter at the sight of Jameson’s cool, admiring gaze—and she knew Vivienne wondered: why this man, when Adrian had offered titans of finance and CEOs?

I stopped at the door and waited calmly for her to finish. After a long wait, Jaime finally stepped out, straightening her clothes. Derek followed behind her. She paused when she saw me and tugged at her collar to hide the marks on her neck. The reporters she had arranged were already present, and the broadcast was live. Her expression returned to normal. She glanced at me and spoke in a cold voice. “Joseph, you need to understand your situation. Your mother’s life is still in my hands. If you do not want her to die, you had better admit your mistake properly in front of the media.”

Kayne was still staring at him but he turned his gaze to Dorothy who was now in front of him. “Forget that, Dorothy.” He smiled and left the woman. He took a few steps. He realized that the woman was following him so he stopped making a move. He looked behind him. “Is there anything else you want to say, Dorothy?” “Regarding the selection of your second choice mate, Your Majesty. I hope you will give me a chance to prove to you that I deserve to be your mate,” Dorothy said bravely. Bryco forced a smile.

Just like her father. Right then, Nick comes inside, asking, "You're still not ready?" "No, first I needed to ready Naro. Is your work done?" I ask back, peering up at him softly. "Yeah. Now I'll take care of her. You get ready, okay?" Saying that he comes to hold Naro in his arms. He picks her up and pastes a kiss on her chubby cheeks. He then goes to sit on the bed. I watch him with narrowed eyes.
