I glanced up, to confirm my assumptions, that it was truly him. Jasper was glaring at me, with an evil smirk on his face. Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

I take it a step further and drag my tongue up the side of the cone. He chuckles, and I notice his gaze drops to my mouth. When his eyes darken, I think he’s imagining me licking something else. After a while, just as I began to think I had ruined everything with my reckless confession, a feather-light kiss brushed my cheek. Jasmine turned away and spoke in a soft voice, “Then I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye on you from now on.” The sunlight bathed her in a golden glow, etching her into my memory as the most beautiful sight I had ever seen.
